Why in the unholy name of ass would they turn 358/2 days into a goddamn movie. It went from being an actual game, to an elongated cutscene. 2 hours and 50 minutes of just cutscene. Id have a better time getting an actual ds, and getting a copy of the real game. Screw you square enix.

Some of this collection is playable (KH1 and Birth By Sleep) but requires a willingness to deal with frequent crashes. Chain of Memories is completely unplable as the way the fights loads crashes allowing for no progress to be made and no work around. Manage expectations if purchasing this series and don't buy if you've never played before, it will ruin the experience. This games deserve better than this pc port.

Ah, the beautiful baby of the Disney-Squenix love affair. The Kingdom Hearts franchise is an interesting one. First off, credit where it's due: for the time KH1 originally came out, it was kind of earth-shattering. Even by today's standard, the combat system is fun and challenging with great scaling almost all the way through level 80 or so. The music and atmosphere was also next tier. Definitely pretty corny and cliche with the story-telling that was mostly pretty weak, but at the time, that was more than acceptable. Definitely revolutionized combat systems for these styles of games. With over 20 years of age, though, KH1's short-comings really stain its glorious legacy: bad story-writing, annoying platforming, targeting and control mechanics that really don't facilitate the hardest difficulty on the game. Game's a lot better if you skip all the cutscenes, assuming you know where you're supposed to go. Re:Chain is bad. I don't even want to talk about. The progression and scaling in t...

joined the party so freaking late but these games are amazing! birth by sleep is so underrated imo (terra my beloved). i honestly was so close to acting like a teenage boy and banging my fists on my desk while doing the 3 stage boss fight at the end of the first game ToT but it was so rewarding when i finally beat it!!! second game was almost a breeze in comparison but it made up for it in better game mechanics and side quests. i maxed out soras level and all of his drive forms and beat sephiroth!! so so fun

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX is a great way to revisit the series — KH1 shows its age, but KH2 still shines, and having it all together makes it easy to recommend. After all these years, KH is still my favorite game series.

one of my favorite games, changed my life and who I am as a person. "We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend. Now I will step forward to realize this wish. And who knows: starting a new journey may not be so hard, or maybe it has already begun. There are many worlds, but they share the same sky — one sky, one destiny."

First off, let me be clear, I love Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5. I have beaten both KHFM1 and KHFM2. HOWEVER, the Final Mix of KH2 has a very bad bug that hasn't been addressed that causes crashing and the graphics of the in game menu are a part of this. You will end up spending your time playing save point to save point, and having to redo sections multiple times just to get to the next save point due to the crashing error. I love these games, but I cannot in good faith say they are worth playing on Steam with these bugs. Get them for PS4/PS5 if you really want to play them. Not worth the Steam price for a game that barely works.

I am begging you, do not buy this game in 2025, it aged so poorly it's insane. Their concept of fun is grinding. Most of the battles (with some due exceptions) are incredibly lazy in terms of design and you can essentially only win them if you're leveled up enough. It's not a game, it's a chore.
