About This Game

We know you stay up at night wishing you could build electronic tank fleets and lob digital artillery shells at your hapless victims. We know you trod through the day dreaming of crushing your enemy under your merciless hover-treads. We’re not sure how being crushed under a hover-tread would work, but what you may not know is that your computer dreams of the same things. Fortunately, we’re here to help.

Digitanks brings classic artillery-style gameplay to 3D, and transforms the concept with strategy elements. Traditional artillery games locked players into a 2D environment, but Digitanks kicks it up a notch by opening the game up with resources, base-building, and turn-based strategy, all in three dimensions. You command a fleet of digital tanks and work to conquer your foes. Expanding your base, defending your supply lines, and controlling Electronodes - the source of power - allows you to build ever increasing fleets of battle tanks.

Digitanks raises the bar for artillery games. Tanks are no longer automatons firing blindly in a desperate attempt to kill the enemy before he kills you. In Digitanks, you must manage your resources intelligently and effectively if you expect to succeed. Four specialized units each have distinct advantages and drawbacks. Will you allocate your resources to constructing an artillery battery, at the risk of allowing your enemy time to build his defenses? If you advance to capture more resources, will you leave your supply lines undefended? Will you focus on increasing production capacity or will you construct your fleet and go for an early victory? Artillery games used to be about having sharp aim, now they’re about having sharp brains.

for all the isometric gaming fans out there (starcraft, aoe, etc) this game is in your lane. A phenomenal game that emphasizes positioning, plan of attack and defense. a fun, layered battling system that is easy to jump right into and very rewarding. the multiplayer is a blast playing with friends. random generated maps that wont allow you to set your camp up the same way twice, so it will keep you on your toes. I recommend this awesome game!!

Fun little strategy game that evokes feelings of Scorched Earth with more depth to it. Simple enough to pick up and play but definitely requires a bit of strategy to use positioning effectively. Worth it!

Fun cross between strategy and artillery. There's a short campaign, but the main focus is on playing against the AI, or online against your friends. You can skirmish tanks-on-tanks, or if you want a longer, more strategic game, you can build bases, take over territory, and build your army while managing resources.

Digitanks is a labor of love, made by a good friend of mine. It feels very much like a 3d version of the old popular artillery/strategy games of the late 90's/early 00's - think Scorched Earth, Worms, Death Tank etc. Designed, developed, and created entirely by a single person as immersed himself in what he loved to do, (programming video games,) Digitanks delivers a blast of nostalgia for older gamers, and a window into the past for younger ones; reminding us of a simpler time of LAN parties, midnight releases, gaming magazines, and 733t 5p34k. Pick it up and enjoy it for the gameplay, or pick it up and enjoy it for the memories.

Surprisingly funny for the genre, I wasn't expecting it. The UI and tutorial did a good job guiding me through the experience! Was able to play on my Steam Deck with no troubles. I'm not normally an RTS player but I did really enjoy this one.

After I started playing Digitanks, my life fell apart. It was around the time my cryptocurrency crashed. That was the final straw, and my wife left me. I crashed my car into a phone poll and was arrested for driving drunk. I stomped on the officer's toe and was denied bail. I was fired for not showing up at my job for two months. My supposedly-best-friend Pillboi robbed my house and took my Playstation. My dog knawed through his rope and ran into the woods and hasn't come back. None of this is Digitank's fault, though. Digitanks is a great game. You should play it.

Far more fun than you might expect for the price-point. It straddles a really pleasant balance between the accessibility of classic arcade tank games, and deeper turn-based strategic play. Low barrier to entry, but tons of upward potential for people who want to get immersed in war game strategy. The tanks can be upgraded based on promotions they get, which they seem to get per-kill they score. It's not overburdened with unreasonable RNG checks for weapons fire/aiming, so it's always satisfying to shoot stuff. The terrain can be used effectively to create cover, ambushes, or traps. The levels have simple but surprisingly effective variety which really elevates the gameplay with fun and replayable scenarios. It's rewarding to see your maneuvers work, and I never felt cheated by some gameplay mechanic that didn't pan out the way my mind expected it to (looking at you, XCOM). If you ever get the chance to play this in multiplayer with friends, you'll find it makes a really comp...

Digitanks is a fun turn based strategy game with old school PC gaming feels. The soundtrack and visuals have a cyberpunk style, kind of reminiscent of System Shock, but in a way that’s super relaxing instead of super terrifying. The gameplay is like Civ meets StarCraft, but with a “the world is a computer” theme, something like Introversion’s classic indie title “Darwinia”, though drawing less heavily from Tron. It’s all the kind of thing that I would have stayed up late every night playing with my old college roommates while eating Chinese fast food and donuts. Speaking of which, that sounds like a good time. What are you all doing wasting time with your clickbaits and your mukbangs? Pick up a copy of Digitanks and enjoy it as God intended, with a side of orange chicken, and an apple fritter.
