Okay so huge disclaimer starting off. I gave this game a thumbs up but it is difficult to recommend. I'll explain. I was looking for a pirate game. Something that had the vibe, the music, the bright colorful islands to loot and explore. There's nothing out there that is like THE pirate game. I play Sea of Thieves and yeah I've played Black Flag so I was looking for something a little more single player action/adventure with a story ya know? I tried the demo of this knowing it wasn't going to be amazing after reading reviews. It scratched the itch enough for me to buy it on sale. Now I'm going to be up front with you. The game isn't great. It's okay. It's got what I wanted at the time so I did enjoy my experience but it's like watching a bad move because you know it's bad and you laugh at how bad it is.
