I loved this game so much!

Oldie but goodie, as they say. I had a flashback of this game I used to play as a kid and I was happy to find it here on Steam. Honestly, I don't think anyone reading this came here not knowing what KaM is, but let's make a review anyway. It's a "Settlers clone" with very appealing graphics and animations that still look pretty good even to this day. The progression of your village is fun to watch, albeit it is very slow. The construction of your roads, buildings or farm plots depend solely on your labourers and serfs, two units who are absolutely necessary for you to have in great numbers in order to succeed. The labourers build while the serfs deliver the required materials. You can really hinder your progress by planning too many constructions at the same time, since labourers willl always favor roads and farm plots over buildings. Serfs deliver one ressource at a time, so get ready to wait as they pile up stone and planks one by one before you can finally construct a building. Yo...

Old School Game and the best by the way

It is a very old game that I played some 25 years ago. It's challenging, a bit clunky (the knights not always do what you want), and the difficulty level is rather high, but it's a lovely, still playable game, and winning gives a lot of satisfaction. Be prepared to play long hours and sometimes you'll have to start a level over as a bad town design is not forgiving.
