Clunky, unresponsive, terribly paced, and literally no graphical or display options of any kind. On top of a claustrophobic FoV there's also an intense vignette, so thing always feel cramped. Not to mention the game is spectacularly unfunny and I'm normally quite easily entertained. It just seems really unpolished. Inputs get ignored, you get stuck on things easily, the weapon aiming has this weird 'loose' feel that makes being accurate a pain, you can't see shit when combat gets hectic, the dodge has this weird property where when you roll, the camera locks on to an enemy so you always dodge in semi circles but there is no other signs of a lock on system. I think there's some sort of execution mechanic but the game did not explain it, so the several chapters I played I played without that mechanic. It's easy to understand why this game didn't exactly light the industry aflame when it first released. It is also a pitiful remaster with no GFX options and as far as I can tell, no QoL u...

A product of its time in every sense. If you never get around to playing it, you’re honestly not missing much. The gameplay is serviceable at best, but the pacing is constantly interrupted with stop-and-go segments that kill any momentum. The art style didn’t click with me at all, the story felt more like a chaotic mess than a fun ride and the dialogue was pretty cringe overall. It has its moments and some charm here and there but i wouldn't recommend it overall. 5/10 (Average)
It is an okay game, and kinda janky in most aspects of the game. Should be worth it on sale. PC port itself is bare bones. It runs that really about it. Controls and aspect of the game could have used some polishing if any was done. For an example, I feel Melee should be able to break crate and boxes, so you don't have to use ammo to break them. Also aiming with the guns doesn't always feel accurate to the pointer it gives you. It was an entertaining experience just not great.
I love this game. But, take note that it is a game from 2011 gussied up with some new costumes. There are QOL issues that stem from its age (Sadly the remaster did not deal with these) and the graphics Are Not OMG AMAZING. What you do get is great art, good guns, a cheesy over-the-top plot, very good VA, and some challenging side scrolling mini-game. Definitely not for everybody. Definitely fun for me. Admittedly, I pretty much only play this, Lollipop Chainsaw, Fallout 4 and the OG Dragon Age titles.
Difficulty achievements don't stack.
Suda 51......... That is all you need to know. Game is GAS
