An amusing concept can only take a game so far. The gameplay is a clunky mess, and it all very quickly becomes dull and tedious. Avoid unless you pick it up on sale or are only interested in the achievements/cards.

Where do I even begin? Lizards Must Die is quite possibly one of the worst games I’ve had the misfortune of installing. This isn't just a bad game—it’s a glitchy, half-baked, insult-to-gaming pile of trash. Horrible graphics – Even by indie standards, this looks like it was slapped together in a weekend with zero effort. The textures are muddy, the models are stiff and lifeless, and the animations look like they came from a late-90s tech demo. I’ve seen mobile games from a decade ago that look better than this. Horrible gameplay – It’s not just that it’s boring; it’s broken. Enemies have terrible AI (if you can even call it that), the controls are floaty and inconsistent, and the combat feels like you’re swinging a pool noodle underwater. The game mechanics are shallow and unimaginative, and nothing about it is satisfying or fun.
