About the Game

Stray Path is a roguelike card game brimming with endless possibilities. Each run, select from a variety of adventurers and take on the challenges of a randomly generated stray world. Optimize every choice: whether to keep or discard skill cards and item cards is entirely up to you. Drag cards like you would in FreeCell, and even store two cards in your inventory. Come along on a thrilling journey of card-flipping that will keep you engaged until you reach the end of this stray world!

In this enthralling adventure, you'll face various kinds of enemies. Will you bravely engage in combat or wisely avoid fights? Collect equipment and items from chests, or discard them? Your decisions shape your fate - to win or to perish, it's all in your hands.

Exploring this unknown world means never knowing what the next card will reveal. It could be an elite enemy, a life-saving item, or a prize chest filled with fancy equipment. Every flip brings a new challenge or opportunity!

Build your loadout from over 100 pieces of equipment and items across different characters. Experience a wide range of playstyles in this endless adventure: become an impenetrable wall with ultra-high defense, or a one-hit wonder glass cannon with devastating attacks. Conquer increasingly powerful enemies on your path to victory!

No two adventures are alike. Face randomly generated enemies, events, and prizes. Different paths lead to different challenges and surprises. Make your choices wisely and discover what lies at the end of the Stray Path!

I absolutely love this game. I've never been a big roguelike fan until recently and while I like Slay the Spire, I find Stray Path way more fun. The graphics are cute, the sound effects are fun, and there are a ton of combos you can figure out to successfully beat the game. I love the different characters, including the new starter in the most recent update (Chef), and the new difficulty challenges the update added. I have obsessively played to unlock most of the achievements and hope they come out with more content for it. It was nice the last update was free, but I would happily pay for a new DLC to keep supporting the devs

this game is super fun for if u want a shorter game. i unlocked everything awhile ago but i really enjoy throwing myself at the game at max difficulty to see if i can find new strats. beware the game can be punishing if you just try to dump everything into one stat.

Fun! edit: I gotta be honest: there are reviewers (look at the 1st one) who gave this a 'No' who haven't beat a run in over 30(!) hours of play time. I've beat it twice now in less than 10 hours and I can't help but think they're just bad, and this game isn't a good fit for them. It's like that reviewer who thought Cup Head was bad who couldn't figure out how to jump.

I do recommend this game despite having refunded it after 2.5hrs. I liked everything there was, my only problem was the repetitiveness. After almost beating the game and starting over I realised that Ill be doing the same again. Yeah sure, you unlock new chars, relics, starting boons etc., but it doesnt create big of a difference. At least not to me, so I refunded. But it is a good game, I acknowledge that.

I had a lot of fun. The game is challenging unless you find the secret easy-mode combo then it's a breeze to unlock all achievements. Diverse mechanics and supports lots of different play styles. Pretty easy to unlock all the characters which is where the real fun starts. Worth the price and decent amount of replay-ablity. There are some really cool easter eggs hidden that you may never find unless you try to get all the achievements.

Fun game. Leveling relics feels fun. Managing your resources feels fun. Completing and clearing a level feels fun. I feel like this game solved the old issue of rogue like/lite deck building battle games. Normally if you have nothing in hand you just get attacked without repercussion, but in this game you have your basic attack which the whole revolves around which you can use infinitly many times. Or you can use one of the items that you find in a level.
