would recommend if it was before it was acquired by epic games. been only downhill since then

In the years since Epic took over ownership of Rocket League, it has undergone an overwhelming Fortnite-ification to it's detriment. Without a committed team of players, it's become impossible to consistently find matches with players that match your own skill level. The game has become nothing more than a spotty cash grab, and the only consistency between matches is the inconsistency of the teammates you are forced to compensate for, and the opponents you are matched against. With over 1,600 hours in the game, I can no longer in good conscience recommend this game as it has become no more than an exercise in frustration and futility.

Epic has ruined the game. Its dead. Been dead for a long time. Officially getting the uninstall.

The moment you realize how deep smart and hard this game is, you're hooked. I'd recommend not playing enough to get addicted. Keep it fun, casual, with a few friends. Once you start getting good mechanically and entering ranked matches on your own, you're done. Good Graphics? - check Good Mechanics? - check Need Strategy? - check can be played casually AND competitive? - check Easy to learn hard to master? - check "i'll never be good at this" feeling? - check Still can't believe that this kids video game of car soccer is one of the best games I've ever played

Nothing like playing a little bit of rockets with the boiz. Nothing like it.

Terrible use to be a fire game until Epic Games bought it and removed trading and all the fire aspects of the game it's now dead and when I solo queue I get teammates that are way lower skill then I am.

This game is so terrible that I have played it for 10 years, and have no plans to stop playing it anytime soon.

There is no other game like this. Soccer and racing together. The game has been out for 10 years and people are still finding new ways to push the limits of this game. New techniques are constantly being discovered.

A big "screw you!" to Epic Games for ending support for Linux + Mac! Just installed the whole game just to be informed by the game that my platform isn't supported anymore. So sad to see the perfect game for console like gaming on Linux go...
