Gears of War: Reloaded

After a month of anticipation, I finally get together with my boyfriend on our day off together, plug in two controllers, and get ready to spend an afternoon blasting the locust! But the option is nowhere in the menus to be seen. What gives? Turns out, 13 days before launch, they pulled the local co-op tag from Steam. They had advertised this game as having local co-op splitscreen as a feature on the Steam page and in the trailer, and my purchasing decision was based on this fact. I was misled, and our afternoon plans were ruined. :( Looks to me like The Coalition either deliberately lied to sell more copies, or they just plain didn't know what features the PC version of their own game had. For shame!

1: The trailer on steam advertised split-screen coop until about 6 hours after launch. This video was edited to exclude that part of the trailer after launch when the review bombing began. False advertisement gets an automatic thumbs down. 2: Keybinds are a mess. m/k cant set the same binds as controller players. 3: Changing graphics settings causes a bootloop which requires manually deleting game files to fix. This game had a beta. Even with FREE game testing labor, they still managed to have a common bug causing a bootloop? I wish I could give another thumbs down. 4: I'll be back when Gears 1, 2, and 3 get released on PC as a package without any of the aforementioned bull ****. Give me back my money.

I'm extremely disappointed that the game just crashed after I made some changes in the graphics option and restart the game. The game just crashed when it connects to the service! Fix it Coalition/Microsoft! This needs a hotfix! Absolutely inexcusable to release broken PC port on Steam! *Update* If you're still experiencing game crash, follow these steps: -Go to C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\Coalition -Delete "WarGame" folder -Relaunch the game and it should work without crash -However, don't login with your Microsoft account, otherwise the game will crash after restart! -But for now, single player campaign should work, although there's technical issue for Multiplayer. Wait for the patch.

Got the game because they said it had split screen, it in fact does not on pc after clear advertising for local coop..would love to pick it up again if they add local coop into it. As of right now, no. refunded.

No split screen coop even tho it was advertised. It seems they have coincidentally removed any mention of it from the Steam store page as of 13 days ago. And more recently, changing the original announcement video on Steam to a shorter, 30 second version of the announcement trailer. Conveniently, this new video also leaves out the shot from the original trailer that advertised "SPLIT SCREEN COOP" in big words. Runs great on Deck atleast.

Gears of War Reloaded is a Cash Grab We wanted a Gears of War Marcus Fenix Collection but got this on pc instead. Gears of War Reloaded does not suck it runs fine and is a good story game; BUT it definitely is a hard sell considering it is just another lazy rerelease of Gears Ultimate Edition we got 10 years ago on PC to market Gears of War E-day. What should have been a great opportunity for Microsoft and Xbox to bring a whole new generation into the Gears of War Franchise to PC is yet another pathetic half a$$ed attempt at an easy cash grab that feels similar to what Sony is doing with the Last of Us Remastered Remakes on PC. I really wish this included both Gears of War 2 & 3 since neither of those games got a dedicated PC port meaning that neither Pc. But, here we are again disappointed and underwhelmed by Xbox's lack of effort when it comes to even rereleasing their old games, not to mention any new entries. also the serviers are broke at launch and they took out the local split s...

Imagine being tricked into buying something for split-screen as the series has always had it and was advertised to have it here to be changed last second to prevent a worse review bombing. Do your job and add it in as it was supposed to be here. Don't ask for pre-orders then change what I'm buying later. I don't want a fake nice response from someone copying and pasting for me to go to xbox support. Just add split-screen. Gears is one of THE BEST series to play in split-screen

A decent remaster...that's been done once already... Why remake/remaster Gears 1 AGAIN when Gears 2-Judgment are siting there rotting on the 360? (also Gears 4 is just sitting over in the MS store and can be easily dragged over to steam) This should have been a MCC style collection. Can't wait in ten years for the 30th anniversary when they remake Gears 1 again for UE 6.

Every time I replay this game I feel like I'm playing for the first time. Now if you please, give us 2, 3 and Judgement.
