Developer Okyakusama has released an admirable number of idle rpgs of late, admirable in number, and admirable in that each title is far deeper than would appear at first, and each employs unique game mechanics seperating it from it's siblings. For me, Idle Build RPG is currently the most alluring of the bunch. In fact, I've never seen so many nuanced systems, so much number crunching, in an RPG. Loot drops are specific to the selected character, so switching classes out is key to their development. Chests can be crafted from monster drops. There are four tiers of skills, with eight freely selectable per tier. Inscriptions of verying quality can be equiped to enhance specific skills. Three attack and three defense gems, and class specific imprints can be set to a wheel to further define your builds. Relics are acquired at set levels and grant passive skills and abilities. Mercenaries can be used upon reaching level fifty, and can choose from forty skills taken from the main cl...

i'm gonna give this a thumbs up because i've allready spend allota time on it (running it in the background while watching movies or playing other games). but this really needs a better English translation, cause half of the time idk wtf is going on.
Listen,.... I don't want to be critical. I fully expected the negative reviews to be exaggerating the situation. But holy crap, what the hell is going on. Game drops you in with zero clue/explanation of ANYTHING, a bunch of money you have zero idea where to use it, a bunch of chests that tell you what they do,.... barely. Then you click on the buttons and you get lost immediately. The clues and hints hovering over items are badly translated and might as well mean nothing. the buttons also stay up unless you minimize them yourself, so that's just annoying. When I started the game, I was randomly fighting (i think i was fighting, there's like no animations so IDK) creatures with millions of health. I literally just started the game and I was dying every hit with no clue on what or why. So yeah,..... I have no interest in paying for a game which makes you the victim. Easiest refund of my life. There are COUNTLESS free to play games out there that function INFINITELY better than...
In my case after about the 500 hour mark I saw everything there is to see. All thats left after that is optimizing your build in order to obtain the most exp per second Developer used to update the game daily however that slowed down, but I still imagine he'll probably add at least one more realm that drops some kind of exp ring sometime in the future worth the 5 dollars
I really enjoy the game and it was a bit hard to figure things out at first because there is no tutorial (I still have no clue what Tenacity does), but it is easy to reason through stuff. I have made glass cannons, and poison is your friend! The debuffs persist even when you are dead and your mercenary can use debuffs while you are dead. When your hero dies, it will revive in 30 to 25 seconds. No need to worry about getting hosed all of the time then. The game is also going to have some depth to it because of the quick change hero system. I haven't really messed with that system much yet because it's going to take time to get all of my hero's equipment at the same level. I suggest doing what I did and focus on the poison hero and the first world till it it slows down. Then, I moved to the other worlds and helped my DoT and poison damage with gems. I also turned off all of the generating items except for the first three. That way I now have tons of equipment chests and will open them w...
Giving this game a thumbs up because I've already spent a lot of time on it—mostly running it in the background while watching movies or playing other games. It's oddly addictive in that way. That said, it really needs a better English translation. Half the time, I have no idea what's going on or what certain things mean. If the devs can clean that up, it'd improve the experience a lot!
