to many bugs and soft locks. I have completed one "run" by starting from the tutorial and dying at the final boss. that was the only progression i made. all future runs got locked by the game failing to load, or just stopped responding and I would have to start a new run and attempt to complete it. verifying files shows no errors. uninstalling and reinstalling proves fruitless. there is totally something wrong. game is fun and it really makes you feel powerful. just I hate how I am always worried the game will just FAIL.

User Reviews
I had a really good time in the game so far. The game has some really cool artwork and music. "Talents" and "Boss Mechanics" offer some impactful variety in gameplay. Many of them work pretty well together and are easy to combine. Different dragon types have some funny mechanics that makes each one fairly unique in terms of how to play and set up your cards. (Some work so well they can loop in themself and get out of hand with the help of said mechanics and talents) The replayability comes from you being able to increase the difficulty or a New Game+ with scaled enemies. Some enemies in the game can be tricky at first, but are manageable. Yet the game has some bugs and unused potential. I recommend the game. Try the demo, maybe get it in sale and if you are a dragon lover (like me) definitely give it a try!
Very promising in the demo but is very shallow upon release sadly. There is little reason to play once you have conquered the map once (which it counts as a defeat). I also beat it within the second run I did. The alternate dragons are fun enough but lack the same fluidity the base 3 elements offered. and doesnt even change your loot pool to populate it with cards and relics unique to those dragons (Even if that means locking pyro to the red dragon). Typical rogue like enjoyers wont like this as much especially considering there is no endless and no means to accumulate power between runs. Only thing you really get after levelling to cap is a purely cosmetic dragon den (and you cant even pick your "default" dragon to show here
Art is so gorgeous, especially since i enjoy gothic style in art. Music is also impeccable, though its understandable to get bored with it repeating so much when you play longer than an hour. Leveling for not only enemies but also yourself is clean and the choice to limit and make the game harder truly makes it a fun gaming experience for whatever you are feeling for that day. Playing as dragon yourself instead of fighting against one ( as is the norm ) truly makes this game stand out. Im thoroughly addicted.
Some issues with crashes aside, I'd say the biggest issue with this is that the tech/skill tree is just not as expansive as it could be. Mechanically, the game works and plays amazingly. But the biggest mechanic, is also the one that could be expanded on the most. Especially give the elemental awakening patch, which has a lot of interaction issues. For example, dark aspect grants dark fireballs in initial deck, but any fireball gained afterwards is a normal fireball. Cards need more variations depending on the aspect chosen. I still enjoy the game, but definitely recommend a sale until the devs can cook up some more QoL fixes.
In theory, great game, yet in practice I felt it was so janky that I had to refund it, as it was causing a lot of frustration.
Cool ideas. broken in so many ways. I can't change resolution or borderless/Fullscreen, no matter what or where i try it. Other Aspect colors are cool, very unfinished, little to no interaction with established elements, robbing you of half your deck.
I got my money out of this one for sure. I definitely enjoyed it. The deck builder aspects are spot on and the variety of dragons gives it some solid replayability.
While the idea is very nice and the mechanics are competent, the game still feels incomplete due to several behaviors, one of them being that the game only recognizes the first character you may play as during cutscenes and a few other non-playing field screens.
Very fun strategy game, you definitely feel like the raid Boss!!
