The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC

Top 5 rpgs of all time and i've been playing rpgs for decades now, this game was just so amazing and heartfelt i always chuckle when they say people don't like peak Trails but, not everyone has good taste and that's fine to each his own. like i said in my other review if you want to play games with great characters, story and world building playing the sky trilogy, if you want to something Flashy, leans heavy into rule of cool and has a dating sim for some strange reason play the cold steel arc.

Just beat this game. It took me two different tries so my steam hours is a bit off. Maybe around 40 hours for a mostly complete play through. I absolutely love this series for its characters, world building and great mesh between mechanics and story telling. This series can be a bit of a trek at times. But I'm absolutely loving it when I do play them.

10/10 would wipe memory to play for first time again

Definitely a good follow up. The game mechanics stayed consistent and some boss parts were easier to handle.

Very good story telling. The character development is very good, especial Estelle. So romantic, so cute. Very good combat and Orb skill system. This art style is never die although over 20 years pass Deserve to play.

I can't get over how much of a masterpiece Trails in the Sky SC is!!! I would be remiss not to mention that Sky SC was heightened by the incredible world building and the masterful finale of FC! SC takes everything great from the first entry and ramps it up tenfold. Being able to experience Estelle & Joshua's story to its conclusion was absolutely beautiful! Just as Sky FC made me fall in love with Liberl, Sky SC made me fall in love with the characters. Estelle Bright in particular! She has become one of my favorite protagonists in gaming! Her growth, not only as a Bracer but as a person, was such a pleasure to experience! The Beach Scene, in particular, is Estelle at her best! One of my favorite moments in all of Trails! She absolutely shines (pun intended!!!) Trails in the Sky SC was absolutely fantastic! My lofty expectations were easily exceeded! This game is PEAK Trails and one of the greatest JRPGs I've ever played!

One of my favorite games ever, please play the first one first as this one continues immediately after it's ending. Plus Estelle is one of the best game characters ever, Olivier too.
