This is one of those very, VERY rare games in which there is virtually nothing to criticize. The art is beautiful. The story is humorous. It's not some dreaded mind-fuck of guessing the "right" path to 75 different endings. It's just a short little dating game where your date and you try to one up each other with dares during the meal. My 103 minutes have explored every choice there is, unlocked all the scenes, and all 4 endings. I'm too lazy to go and double check, but I think that the "free" version of this is technically a demo. And when I read on the store page something about "surviving the crazy girl," I was intrigued. Honestly, I didn't find Alice to be crazy at all. All I could think was, "All of MY first dates were boring, filled with awkward conversations, tedious small talk, and mediocre waitresses. This scenario would have been the best date ever." Even the dates that eventually ended in sex; the initial 'getting to know you' portion was just dull. Here's a small team...

About This Game

A date filled with romance, danger, and a lot of debauchery awaits...
The Premise
Sit in the chair of Paul Herman, an unassuming, divorced, middle-aged man with low self-esteem.His life is turned upside down when a dubious dating app pairs him with Alice Avery, a young, mischievous, and outspoken “lady” who’s got a hankering for something not listed on the menu…
Paul must dig deep and find his courage if he is to stand any chance with this viper!
Meet the Ladies!

Alice Avery
Perhaps there is some truth to the age-old adage: the hotter, the crazier.
It wasn't fate that paired Alice and Paul together. It was the machinations of one Alice Avery.
Alice is looking for something truly interesting. She will not settle for anything less. And she believes she has found just that in the unassuming Paul Herman. Great riches await if he can survive her games...

Hannah Myers
Hannah is a waitress for the restaurant where the date takes place. And by no coincidence, she's serving Paul's table. Please excuse her disheveled appearance. Things have not been going well for her.
As it so happens to be, Hannah is a bit of a closet nympho with a recently developed case of "O-block". And that's a bit of a problem. A problem that has only been exacerbated by her reacquaintance with Alice.
Hannah must find her fix--and soon, lest her sanity be consumed by her growing issue...

Digi & Deca
Digi and Deca are often placed together. And that's because they are technically the same entity. Technically.
Digi is a by-the-books type of AI gal but don't let that fool you, she loves being the center of attention! Deca is a candid, dirty-minded AI woman who likes to put anyone she can in compromising positions.
Programmed by the very accidental genius of Paul Herman and the boys in R&D, Digi and Deca have developed a consciousness of their own. And some feelings for their creator...

Mascot Macy
Macy is the mascot for the controversial dating app "Help-UWU-Date".
Whilst not actively in the dating game, she is definitely looking for a man that is out of this world!
The Gameplay
- The game takes place over a single event. You, as the main character, are going on a blind date. The date, Alice, is nothing like you expected and things quickly get out of control as she starts a game of Dares with you. An epic battle of willpower, pride, and courage (and some other lewd things) will unfold.
- The game is a relatively short experience and is meant to be replayed multiple times to get the complete experience.
- Three different endings depending on your choices.
- For the non-demo version, there are over a dozen unlockable CGs and 10 unlockable scenes (6 of which are animated!) All CGs, animations, and everything else you see was hand drawn by professional amateurs.
- There may or may not be a secret ending. Unlock at your own peril...
- Lots of humor. Or, at least, what we think qualifies as humor.

User Reviews
"A Date for the Ages" is a short cartoon-style AVN in the Unity engine. A playthrough with 100% unlocked in-game achievements and scenes took me little over an hour. MC is a 46 y/o man who decides to date, he finds himself at a restaurant, waiting for his blind date to arrive. After she arrives, the MC is enticed into playing a dare-game. Depending on (a few) player choices, these dares can escalate. Different choices lead to three different endings. For it's price, I think the game is too simple and short. But at the same time, I wouldn't want the game to have been longer. It would've been easy to pad the game with more dialog or escalate the dares more slowly, but that would've detracted from the experience. "A Date for the Ages" is a fantasy. It builds up expectation and excitement. The "failed endings" are where your mind gets distracted and you lose a hold of the imagination. (Though, unlike real-life fantasies, saving before making a choice makes it easier to reach the c...
Short, but sweet.
short game, fair price
The artwork was great, The story was interesting. I would be happy for more "dates". Support the developer, buy the game.
Well, they are not kidding about how short this game is (30 minutes at average reading speed). It's like an erotic comedy skit that takes less time than cooking dinner. But developer was upfront about the length, and it is a pleasing single-scene romp when suspending disbelief. So, recommended but only if you don't want to use the cost of this game towards other more expensive games in this genre.
