About This Game
STORY
The world no longer belongs to humanity.
Giant machines now roam the earth, pushing mankind to the brink of extinction.
Jude Gray, a wandering Courier, receives a request to deliver some very special cargo. This cargo turns out to be Philia, an android girl who is unaffected by the enigmatic Singularity Machines.
Jude is left with no choice but to escort Philia to her destination, doing his best to protect her from harm and teach her how to survive in this harsh world. Together, they must traverse the hostile wilderness, avoiding threats both mechanical and human.
The whole time, Philia insists she's going to become human someday.
What awaits Jude and Philia at the end of the road? Can humanity really be saved, or is it already too late...?
CHARACTERS
An Android Who Dreams of Being Human
Philia
"If I become human... I can save everyone. I think."
An android girl discovered inside an ancient replicator capsule.
Ever since she opened her eyes, she's been fixated on finding a way to become human.
Philia has a bright, innocent personality and zero real life experience. It's up to Jude to teach her how the world works.
She's curious about everything around her and occasionally charges in without thinking about the consequences.
She also has a natural affinity with AI, being able to understand them on an almost instinctual level.
A Wandering Courier Just Trying to Get By
Jude Gray
"I have to protect you somehow, and shooting down threats is the only way I know how."
A man who makes his living as a traveling jack of all trades.
His knowledge of technology and engineering means he gravitates toward more specialized jobs, for better or worse.
Jude's mind is always on survival first and foremost. He doesn't allow himself to be influenced by emotions or any abstract sense of duty.
An avid gun enthusiast, he often gets so wrapped up preparing his gear that he loses track of time.
A Nobleman Working to Revive Humanity
Willem Grosvenor
"I have a dream. One I've harbored all my life."
This mysterious old man claims to be working on a project to take the world back from the Machines.
He has access to highly advanced technology that has kept him alive for over 100 years.
After contacting Jude via a drone delivery, Willem offers him a king's ransom to retrieve and deliver Philia.
He's only ever seen on video calls, making his actual whereabouts a mystery.
An Android Seeking Her Father
Delilah
"He's the one who taught me everything I know."
An android rescued from a gang of bandits, who appears to be the same model as Philia.
She's been treated badly, and now has a cracked-open head, a missing leg, and a multitude of other injuries.
She was separated from the man she calls her father, and is desperate to find him again.

User Reviews
This was one of the very first visual novels I've ever played and it completely blew me away. As a huge Sci-Fi fan, the story felt like it was made for me. I went in not knowing what to expect, but what I experienced left me speechless β and absolutely not disappointed. The visuals are breathtaking, the voice acting is full of emotion and the soundtrack is nothing short of a masterpiece with every single track. The story takes you on an emotional rollercoaster and I even found myself in tears at some points. The characters are amazingly well-written and truly grow on you as you read your way through. I can one hundred percent recommend playing this visual novel.
It's a nakige from Key. Without spoiling anything. The characters are okay. The premise is interesting. The story is good and well paced, but not that amazing. Eight-out-of-ten-ish. I hope they make a sequel for this. I found the epilogue intriguing and entertaining.
Pure Peak, great characterization of out characters with our MC Jude through his monologue and dialogues from teaching the ways of the world with philia to always staying on guard while discussing his job with his contractor, each character develops interestingly and naturally while also telling the story of the world. Set in a post apocalyptic earth where land has been taken back by nature, machines roam around being potentially lethal to any human and their own civilization is heavily divided, these characters discuss the places they visit and the different possibilities surrounding the events and machines that took place in the world and still have a lasting effect on it. The presentation features beautiful and inmersing art pieces for backgorunds and the most impactful and emotional moments accompanied by melodies that will set the mood for what's to come. all of this in around 10-11 hours, not too long by VN standards but just enough to hit where it needs to.
I purchased this thinking this would be some kind of anime game. Whatever, was just some PowerPoint with pictures posted on top of some kind of inconsequential story that became addictive all of a sudden. I was hooked and could not stop watching this thing till the end. As a result, I shall say I am still under the charm of it, the details sound credible and the flow is excellent. I can only recommend this if you like visual novels recounted in Japanese while reading the translation below. Incredibly you end up picking up some words and understanding a few sentences here and there.
a compelling vision
Ah yes... I see you know your Judo well..

This one was (until recently) my favorite visual novel. It tells a very interesting story, has beatifull art and a very good ost. The whole "living after the apocalypse" setting is always interesting to me (usally much more interesting than storys that use "living while the apocalypse takes place" setting). Sure there are the typical "dumb choices" caracters take from time to time (like in 99,9% of anime/visual novels/games) but all in all its a good read. Im also a big fan of the ending
since it isnt a happy go lucky one
. The only problem i have with this one is the choice to place text all over the screen and not (like most other visual novels) to use the generic 3-4 line textboxes. I want to actual see the visuals in an VISUAL novel. Sure it wasnt that much of an problem for like 90% of the text but at times it was anoying to have text over half of the screen in some key scenes or the buildup to a key scene. All in all a 10/10
I originally bought the visual novel because of SWAV's art, but I enjoyed every second of it. A beautiful story set in a post-apocalyptic world ruled by savage humans and evil robots. We accompany Philia, a robot girl, on her journey to become human. A sad, exciting, epic, nerve-wracking journey. Perhaps the robots are already more human than the humans who are still alive.
