About This Game

After a battle against a terrible beast, death takes you… but it does not keep you. Awoken by a powerful Lich under the light of the two moons, you are given a grave task: Safeguard the ruins of Torkadall, the Lich’s home, and all its inhabitants from a deadly force that threatens their, and your, very existence. With no memory of your past life and no direction in this new one, you accept the Lich’s invitation.

Match-3 your way to victory

Match motes to inflict damage, heal, focus yourself, and even make money. Use items and special moves to your advantage and inflict great damage on your foes. You will need to pay attention to your opponent’s forecasted attacks to make sure your strategy is perfectly suited to handling whatever they throw at you.

Get to know monsters

Get to know nine dateable monsters. Who will you click with? From a sweet but imposing minotaur, to a caring but fierce dragon, there’s a beasty for everyone. Starting as strangers, you will get to know the inhabitants of the dungeon and eventually get to take them on rendezvous where your relationship can develop into something more.

Manage the dungeon

Use your time wisely. Who will you train and spend time with each day? Each day you will be able to take a certain number of actions. Is it better to spread your time across all the dungeon's inhabitants, or maximise your time with your favourite few? Should you focus on your own combat potential, or on the good of the many?

Defeat the Forces of Light

The Forces of Light come knocking at the dungeon's doors, and they won't be leaving until they burn it down. You must make sure the dungeon is prepared to fight back when the pesky paladins of light come to visit. Without your help, the dungeon stands no chance.

I've only reached 15 days in-game so far but I truly adore the game so far. My favorite thing out of the way first, the voice-acting is really charming even from voice actors I may not have heard of before. It's very high-quality, charming and makes the characters come to life. That brings me to my next favorite part, the characterization of the different residents of the dungeon is surprisingly realistic for such an outlandish setting. I've felt butterflies sitting in a worm-lit cavern with Calyx the vampire herbalist/medic, and I was so happy to drink tea every day with AJ the minotaur with the heart of gold. To this extent, when the dungeon was under attack I was genuinely concerned for the characters, and the unease that the attack left in the dungeon was palpable. I'm personally a big fan of match-3 games and this one does not disappoint. I find myself having to pause for the day when I become overwhelmed, rather than bored, from the day-to-day life in the game's setting, and tha...

I bought this game in early access last year and loved it. The storyline is interesting. The characters are gorgeous. The combat mechanism - essentially gem-matching, like Bejewelled - is simple and turn-based. As someone with mobility issues, I appreciated that hugely. When I saw 'dungeon dating', I thought 'hmmm, dating evil characters - interesting premise'... instead, the evil folk are the ones OUTSIDE the dungeon, and the monsters are the good-aligned ones. The characters are amazing. They range from stern and parental to soft and gooey sweetness to utterly chaotic drunken-shenanigan instigators... 😆 I love them all, and can't wait to play the full-release version soon.

A fun game with interesting and unique strategy elements to the match 3 game play, it has a rich interesting story to go along with it that. All of the characters are well developed with great stories and quirks. This game has an abundance of representation in it, with each character being unique and varied so it is easy to find characters to relate to. All in all, if you are looking for a game with a good match 3 mechanics and lovable characters this game would be worth a go.

Looking for a fun, casual game that is full of magic, relationship building, and epic gem-matching battles? If so, you should check this one out! Learn different strategies with your gem matching to unlock unique powers against a variety of challenging opponents while you play through the storyline, build strong relationships, and keep the dungeons safe from the invading forces. Here you play as a newly dead creature of the night who is tasked with the role of protecting the dungeon from the land of the living. You learn that the monsters that reside here aren't really the danger - the humans are! Help your new friends with tasks, build up friendships (and maybe more), and develop your talents as a gem-wielding powerhouse that will keep this dark world safe. The world is very inclusive and is welcoming for everyone. My personal favorite so far is the vampire Calyx, healer extraordinaire and all around sweetie! Each NPC has their own special personality, goals, and strengths. ...

I want to give this game a positive review because I love the concept but I am maybe an hour or two into the game and I've seen a litany of bugs from repeating dialogues to visual glitches that require a game restart to clear. When you see a game has left EA you kind of expect it to be at least a little polished particularly towards the beginning of the game.
