Played it for the first time in 2025 and I'm impressed. Surely one of the best story-driven adventure games ever. The story is excellent, top-tier, and the visuals are very good, comic-like art. Considering these two points, this game will never be outdated. There are numerous choices that impact the story a lot, it's not too linear. Gameplay isn't quite as excellent, a bit awkward sometimes in my opinion, but still good enough. I like that there is limited time in dialogues, it creates some tension. But the original game is only in English, which makes it unplayable for those who aren't completely fluent, as the text must be read very quickly. But the thing that completely got me was a tiny pearl at the end of the story. In the epilogue, there is a mindblowing revelation that changes the story a lot and it's not fully explained, leaving two main possible interpretations. I googled it and found numerous theories, arguments and even debates, but the story keeps both versions possible. ...

Great game, but I wont recommend because they neve bothered to finish the sequel after years of promises
The Wolf Among Us completely blew me away. The story, atmosphere, characters, and choices are all top-notch. I was hooked from the first episode and couldn’t stop playing until the end. Bigby is one of the best characters I’ve ever played as—tough, smart, and layered with emotion. Every decision felt like it shaped who he was becoming. I really connected with him throughout the story. If you love story-driven games with real consequences and a dark, gritty setting, this is a must-play. Telltale really nailed it with this one.
this game is by far my favorite game of telltale or i can say it is the best choice matter game i've ever played even tho it has a single ending ( because of the sequel they planned to make ) there are a total of ~800 negative reviews on steam and half of them talking of having no sequel this game is 9.75/10 for sure
Despite this being a Telltale game, it's worth playing. Yeah, the story is good, but for the most part I was just thirsting for Bigby Wolf.
absolute cinema. i can't believe i'm only playing this now. it must be so sad for those who waited for the sequel for 10+ years because after that cliffhanger, this game is all i'm gonna think about for the rest of my life until twau2 comes out and it better come out or ill cry ;-;
The story of the game is very beautiful and I enjoyed completing it. I hope for a future part of this story.
I decided to play this game because I very much enjoyed playing Walking Dead. This game is much shorter, just like WD one season. It is a detective story, who investigates the murders. Story is not bad, but imo not the best either. It also leaves an open ending. Relationships with most characters are also not as well-written as it was in WD. Choices does not seem matter a lot, it is certainly not like in Heavy Rain, Detroit, etc. If you played and liked WD, then you should like this. But if you did not play WD, I would recommend to play it first.
cool blend of Noir detective stories and a darker take on classic fairy tales. The choices seem to change the story only in minor ways most of the time but it definitely changes the favor of the story in a positive way so its still a fun ride. It may be a short game but is worth playing if your interested. I hope the sequel actually happens.
This was my first time playing a Telltale game, and I found it to be refreshing. It was more relaxing and movie-like compared to the fast-paced or mechanics-heavy games I usually play. The Wolf Among Us drew me in with its moody atmosphere and strong character writing. Stepping into the role of Bigby Wolf, the conflicted sheriff of Fabletown, felt like becoming the lead in an interactive noir film. Visually, the animation and art direction are impressively creative. Comic book aesthetics blended with neon-soaked noir give every scene a distinct, memorable look. The world feels alive with personality, setting the tone perfectly for the story. The first half of the narrative is where it truly shines. The mystery grabs you early, the plot twists land hard, and every choice feels like it matters. The second half, while still enjoyable, loses a bit of that intensity. It wraps things up well enough but doesn't hit the same narrative highs. What kept me hooked throughout were the cha...
