I love this game, but right now I'm frustrated. Apple Arcade takes priority over any other platform, and events that should let us get past and current things do not. In the current friendship event, users on Steam, Switch and Playstation have furniture in boring colors like green, brown, etc. while Apple Arcade users get happier colors like pinks, purples, etc. Not only that, but we aren't allowed to dye them to the colors that AA has. And apparently people on AA are getting special My Melody and Kuromi furniture that isn't on any other platform. And we still don't have City Town. The coding and everything is already in the game, so I don't understand why it's taking them so long to give things to us. We all spent our money and we should get everything that we paid for. Or at least release the furniture sets and City Town as a paid dlc. Everyone got this free winter area, and log cabin furniture at the same time, and still no City Town for the other platforms. Similar to Animal Crossing but better in many ways. I only bought this game for the South Park reference. Turns out, it's one of the best cozy games I've ever played. Butters was RIGHT!

Let me start by saying, this is a really cute game BUT it can be incredibly tedious and repetitive. Fetch quests dominate this game, which I usually don't mind at all, BUT for some items you have to wait a full day in real time before being able to proceed. Items that you need the most are few and far between, so some quests take days to complete unless you have a special item that replenishes items on the island. There are daily and weekly quests that don't really change a whole lot from day to day or week to week. Some quests cannot be completed unless you get someone else to play with you, that's just not cool. Especially at the price this game charges. Game progression is locked behind friendship levels with the characters, so you basically spend most of your time crafting gifts and handing them out. The characters level up pretty quickly at first, but then it starts to take longer and longer even when giving them the best gifts. Truth, it's cute, but definitely not worth the price...

Yes, it's very cute. Kinda repetitive and sometimes I have no idea what I need to do. Theres no time penalty. It is addicting to just get cozy in at night or to just see cute stuff while feeling down.

this game is cute and very addictive... but it is tragically shallow and the story is mid. yeah yeah its a game called "hello kitty island adventures", but I feel like even children deserve a decent game. It has cute elements like a mission to unlock rainy weather, or the gameplay loop requiring you using the other characters to help around the island which furthers the "friendship" theme! Or the monthly events are a very fun concept. but then there is little annoyances, like how "friendship" in this game is portrayed as showering the characters in gifts to befriend them, or doing favors for you. It feels less like making friends and more like trying to schmooze celebrities. or there are little annoyances that makes the game feel thoughtless, like characters randomly popping into the scene, or how they constantly float everywhere you go instead of anything unique or interesting to traverse. i love this game!!!! when i heard about hello kitty island adventure in south park i knew i needed to get my hands on that game, then i found out it didn't even exist...? i was so mad. but then it came out on phone, ofc i immediately got it, and as soon as it was available (not so soon) on steam i also got it on here!! i'm so glad because i have like 1k+ hours on animal crossing and i'm always complaining about how i wish i could play it on my PC and now i can! it's literally just acnh but with a pre-built island :D (AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO DELETE YOUR SAVE TO MAKE ANOTHER!!!) i know everyone complains about "there being nothing to do after you go around doing your daily stuff" and thankfully i'm not to that point yet BUT even if so, there is constantly events and updates so i think that's something. there's never actually nothing to do, there's always plenty of quests and daily rewards, a HUGE map to loot every single day... so much more. this is such a fun game. i love it so...

I was super excited for this game when it came out, I've been waiting on it for years and bought it day one. Now I'm barely playing it because there's so much yet so little to do. You log on every day to do the daily quests and then for actual story quests? Good luck. To unlock this quest you need to do this quest and to do this quest you need to be friendship level 15 with this character and to unlock this character you need to- you get the idea. And the game tells you none of this. For a kids game you think they'd give you more direction. Also it the light that leads you around is super glitchy, randomly disappears or goes through a mountain or up a cliff I can't go up and stuff like that. Don't get me wrong; I like Sanrio, I love Kuromi and Pompompurin but this definitely NOT my cup of tea. I expected a casual, cutesy 'friendship is magic' exploration game and it still managed to disappoint me with the bare minimum. I'm tried of games that require daily participation and takes way, way too long to achieve anything. I rather not have my playtime limited in any capacity and if I blow through content, I want that to be MY choice. Gameplay feels constricting, tedious, and not at all relaxing. My money & time was wasted and I regret my purchase because this plays like a soulless cash grab. One thing I will give it credit on is this is a one-time purchase.

I bought this game thinking it's too expensive for such basic idea and gameplay and... I was deffinitely wrong. After playing for 90 hours I still feel interested in it and am still looking forward completing it on 100%. Even tho it's needed to be played almost everyday (for 1 hour or a little bit more) in order to complete some major tasks, it doesn't bore me, since there's always something new to do!
