A great twin stick shooter. There are plenty of starting weapons and good mob variety. Leveling up gives many different paths with unique effects that change the way you play.

Great game! Challenging and addictive! Looking forward to see what the developers add later.
The game is alright and lives up to the early access tag. At one point, I created a full piercing build and my game then stuttered to less than 1 FPS. Also, I would get hit by enemies which sent them flying at mach 3 across my screen for a solid minute. This includes bosses. They can hit you when flying like this, but you can't hit them. You can only hope they stop so you can kill them. Give this game maybe a couple more years and it will be solid enough to where it should have been released as early access. The menu system needs a massive overhaul. It needs to be optimized for PC players as you can't even hit escape in the menus to go back. You have to manually press the back button with your mouse.
I'm not a Vampire Survivor's type fan. However, i'm really enjoying my time with this anyways. I got caught up in just moving around, popping slimes and grabbing upgrades as I went and trying to see if I could get the crowd's of enemies to form into different types of formations and poke at the boundaries of the AI - and subsequently found I really had fun doing so. Visually, the use of shaders for ambiance and other lighting affects mixed with the endearing slime pixel art is a nice touch. Really well put together and i'm looking forward to future updates!
I've played about 15 minutes of this game, and I can already tell this is a great way to kill some spare time. I see myself playing this while binge-ing shows or listening to podcasts. Tried out on my Steamdeck. This game works excellently on it.
The great ones care not for you nor I
controller support on deck is poor. i have to use touch to select boons.
Way too unbalance. Meta progression does absolutely nothing, artefact you get on level up does absolutely nothing, enemy spawning and health is way out of control.. this is really not a good experience. And listen, I don't expect every survivor like to be like Vampire Survivor in which you get so powerful nothing can touch you but this is just not fun and feels unfair to play IMHO.
This game has promise, but it should not have been released in the state it presently is in, even as Early Access. It's clearly the dev's first effort, and it's commendable in a lot of ways; the bones of a good game are here. But there are multiple bugs, some game-breaking, as well as some serious design flaws and even a few "first-time game maker" mistakes (like not checking for bullet collision along the bullet's path each frame, only where the bullet actually ends up, causing high-speed bullets to literally teleport through enemies instead of hitting them). It's out, and I'm not going to ask for a refund because I think the dev will do right eventually, but I hope that people will take it to heart that Early Access is for beta releases, not alpha releases. I will change my review to a recommend when the game has reached a state of completion where I can in good conscience recommend it. EDIT: after a couple rounds of mechanical and visual upgrades by the dev, I think the game is at...
Simple but a good challenge
