The Lullaby of Life

A pretty charming puzzle game, I played the original release on Apple Arcade and I'm really glad it finally made its way on PC!

I recently played The Lullaby of Life with a friend over a Discord call, and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The game's music is not just background noise; it's a core part of the gameplay that beautifully complements the puzzles. Each level's soundtrack enhanced the atmosphere and made solving puzzles more enjoyable. The puzzles themselves are cleverly designed and offer just the right level of challenge. Working through them with a friend added an extra layer of fun, as we bounced ideas off each other and experienced the satisfaction of solving each puzzle together. The Lullaby of Life is one of those rare games that captivates you completely, making you lose track of time because you're so immersed in the world it creates. Highly recommend for those who enjoy a good puzzle game and appreciate the integral role of music in enhancing gameplay experience!

I love it, it’s a simple puzzle game that doesn’t treats the player as someone that will eventually understand the problem. The graphics are charming, the audio is on point and runs great on a Steam Deck. If you want to play a relaxing puzzle, you won’t miss with The Lullaby of Life. (Just finished the first act, once I finish the game will update my review)

I've got several quibbles with the game, but I'll lead by saying that I do recommend it. It's a cozy, light puzzle game whose visual design and overall atmosphere are top-notch. I very much enjoyed spending time in the game -- definitely a treat for the senses! The overall vibe is quite chill (with the exception of one relatively short sequence where you're sprinting away from hostile creatures), and it autosaves your state pretty much after every action, so it's easy to play for short stretches at a time. It also worked perfectly for me on Linux via Proton. So yeah, recommended! On to the quibbles, though: First, the puzzle element is [i]extremely[/i] light, IMO. Veterans of other puzzle games may find them easy to the point of triviality. The core mechanic is just triggering a specific sequence of sounds/patterns/colors, and with very few exceptions the mechanics to do so are extremely trivial. A cute and short musical game about life creation

my 5yo played it on apple arcade first and loved it and was devastated when it was no longer available last year onwards. when i told him it was coming on steam, he patiently waited for over a month and then played it on release date. he was happy with the game and it was enjoyable. played on the steamdeck.

This game is amazing! I loved just chilling in a call with friends and playing this, or even just laying in bet playing. It is so relaxing. Only part not relaxing is the scary cubes part... but other than that, it's amazing.

When you want peace..this is the game to try.

Really liked the implementation of music into the puzzles, this is the kind of game that reminds you there are studios still creating games for the player and not for the stakeholder 100% recommended
