Foot guys are eating well. Full review: MP features a ton of scenes and good renders, but is bogged down by repetitious free roam events that water down what would otherwise be serviceable writing. 7/10. Details below. There is free roam without time limits and a few branching pathways: moral/corrupt route, 2 mutually exclusive sidepieces, and each main gal has essentially a romance/corruption route. While I usually enjoy these gameplay elements, the way they're implemented doesn't add a whole lot other than padding out the playtime and adding replay value. On the other hand, there's a really great extended subplot about slowly corrupting the MC's teacher. There's a good attempt at a main story but it's uneven—very end-heavy and unfocused—and despite its potential it doesn't build up the intrigue well. Key features about this game. 1. lots of hours, more so then most visual novels. 2. free roam. 3. lots of fine women. 4. a deep story with mystery and drama and romance that will keep you wanting more. 5. phone system. So far not even close to done but let me tell you... this game is so worth it! this is my 2nd favorite visual novel of all time! i really like it because unlike most visual novels it has a full system so even when done the game you can still play around and you wont get tired of it, the time and effort this creator put into the game has my full respect! a wonderful crafted game, i do hope we get a midnight city 2 in the future but for now no worries this game rocks! i def suggest getting this game. Overall a good game. it's alittle older, so graphic wise feels a little behind for what available today, but still good. The game is done in sandbox mode, which has it's pluses and minuses. Not all storylines are time gated, is very easy to get way ahead or even finish a side storyline before the main one, which makes scenes feel out of place at times. There is a ton of sandbox scenes which happen at particular times on certain days, which can leave you at times repeating scenes over an over or using time skip a lot to get to points to advance the story. the biggest thing i would add to this game though is a skip dialogue button, it currently lacks one and the "auto" feature appears to do do nothing? this makes multiple play throughs to get the different paths and endings start to feel like a chore.
