The game had a very good atmosphere yet the story execution was terrible. It had so many plot holes and a lot of confusing moments. The ending message was important, together with the dark themes it touched upon, yet most of how we got here was... Very confusing and up-right bad. Jumpscares were predictable, however storyline was not properly thought out and did not allow for optimal horror experience. Jumped into dark and suggestive themes, and a few things did not connect together well. I believe this project was an interesting take to certain things, yet I would only suggest it for the atmosphere- not the storyline it provided. It left me feeling confused and a little bitter for its original message.

About This Game
"What is love?"
“Pieces of Me” is not a classic horror game with jump scares, but a psychological thriller-drama in the walking simulator genre. It is a spin-off of “September 7th”
Average time to complete the game: 90 minutes
2009. Grisha returns to his childhood town to visit his younger sister. But instead of a familiar reunion, he’s met with an eerie silence… and traces that seem to be trying to say something.
The familiar streets feel empty, and the school where he spent both the best and hardest years of his life now stands lifeless. But the moment he crosses that familiar threshold, shadows of the past begin to resurface — and follow his every step.
"Pieces of Me" is an atmospheric interactive story about memory, pain, and the things people usually don’t talk about out loud.

Great game with a really good message too. Creepy atmosphere with plenty of jump scares!! Really enjoyed it!
This game was a beautiful and tragic game to me. Some parts were a little hard to see the visual clues but it wasn't terribly hard. I think the message of this game hit me so hard in the feels when I streamed it I was crying a little by it. I loved the parts of regret and redemption. Just enough horror to be a scary game and visually it was great. The ghosts were very creepy and sounds were too. I am glad I played this.
This game is linked to "September 7th" so I would play that one first. This one is the scariest Emika game iv played so far. Every bodily fluid that can come out of a human came out during the play through.
Emika doesn’t disappoint. Another game game with good jump scares and an intense story!
it was alright. i like the simplistic controls, but it was painfully slow dialogue with no voicing for most of it, just reading then waiting a while to get to read the next parts. also long video part that you want to skip but cant at the middle and end, if those were skippable id recommend for 2 dollars but yeah it really tests your patience
Amazing. such a sad story, pulled on my heart while scaring the absolute life out of me. what more can you ask for in a game!
its a good game ^^ u guys should try this!
Best Emika game so far. Great level design, not too many shabby jumpscares (your other games are partially a disaster in that regard) and touching story
Honestly I was somewhat let down with this one, The story wasn't bad but it felt pretty slow paced and lacked in the unsettling atmosphere I'm used to in other Emika games, maybe it's just me. The graphics are good, the story was okay, I would still recommend checking this one out just don't expect the same feel from other games from this dev
