Sprite Forge

Well, I bought it for less than a dollar so I'm not complaining. It's... interesting ? As a pixel artist, I think it has some potential. However, the "open file" feature doesn't work. I select an image file and it does nothing. This is a major setback that I expect to be fixed quickly. Not sure it's worth 10$ though.

Manual does not open when clicked. Generator does not work when loading in some PNGs. Please update your software because this could be a very useful tool.

This is an amazing proof of concept! I love using this software for easy templates for hundreds of sprites! while it is hard to understand at first it can be very useful.

Having tried other software of this kind i can say this is the best one i have tried. That said it needs improvement in a few areas. if you persevere you can create light sourced 2d sprites. as a sprite pixel artist i give it a recommend especially for techy/scifi style sprites. lots of potential and worth the asking price. just be prepared for a little jank.

Awful. No even worth the 80p I paid for it. If you look at the screen screenshots and think 'maybe I could create even better sprites than those'. Forget it. The sprites in the screenshot are the VERY best this is capable of. It spits out trash 99% of the time.
