i have long had an appreciation for roguelike games and the skills one has to develop in order to play them, but they never appealed to me personally simply because i didn't like the idea of dying over and over again and losing all of my items. then i figured i'd give this game a shot because i love rhythm games and silly supernatural themes, and it couldn't hurt to try it out, especially since it was on sale. oh my god. i am addicted. i can now fully understand that specific feeling of satisfaction experienced by my the binding of isaac obsessed boyfriend. every day i look forward to getting home and opening up my laptop and playing this game. i struggled so much in the beginning, convinced it would take me forever to 'get good,' and then slowly everything started clicking. each new zone is a completely different beast from the previous one and it is so fun going from wtaf is going on to learning the movement patterns of every new freaky little enemy and even tes...

One of the most fun and creative games I've ever played. While it is extremely difficult and borderline frustrating and unfair at times; getting more accustomed to how each enemy moves, being able to deal with a wave of enemies being thrown at you and seamlessly flowing through a zone is extremely satisfying and fun. Not to mention that the official soundtrack is a jam already, you can also create your own playlist of MP3's and have Cadence dance to King Von or some shit.

A high skill rhythm dungeon crawler with banger music and cool visuals. I don't really know what else to say, it's just a good game.

I didn't really like this game. There's a lot to it, it has a lot of replay value - but personally, I don't feel like the rhythm aspect of this game works in tandem with the dungeon crawling aspect, it feels like two separate genres that don't have enough glue to keep them held together. Cadence of Hyrule fixes my issues with this game, especially when it comes to adding actual attack animations for the enemies.

The game does not feel obligated to tell you what is going on, and I do not feel obligated to like it. Don't buy it.

One of the best roguelikes ever. Catchy music and great visuals along with hard but fair gameplay make this a must-play for any fans of the genre

I started this game on Switch and I didn't like it... now I cannot stop playing it. It'd be much better with a better tutorial, specially for beginners.

It's like those games with the prick in that pointy green hat but you can only move on the beat.
