This game needs a tutorial very badly! I cleaned everything I thought needed cleaning and only got 70%. I tried again and I swear I got everything, and I only increased the completion percentage to 76%.

On onw hand, it scratches that brain itch of cleaning and leaving a massacre squeaky polished, on the other hand, some levels are far too large and brain numbing, you definately need something on in the background
This is another one of those games that thinks they don't need to explain anything becuase you already memorised the entire wiki and every walktrough before booting up the game. Many of the basic elements are never explained and it just fails you for not knowing there is a time limit and not being able to predict they put corpses on a high up windowsill you cant see, aswell as the wonderfully atmospheric dark lighting that means you won't even see half of the mess you are supposed to clean up. Not too mention how you are consistenly getting fucked by the psychics. Somehow in the walktroughs everyone can throw the giblets into the furnace from 10 miles away meanwhile when you pick up a corpse it obscusres half of your screen and will never make it in the bins unless you play a game of Jenga first. Their water buckets always perfectly stay still while yours fall over if you look at it for two seconds.
Gotta sweep sweep sweep, hit the dab if you got that reference. but yes very enjoyable game for people who like make-pretty type games or like to clean stuff
-got to the office -selected a job -whole place is a bloody mess -stay hours cleaning, only got 99% from my boss -look back, whole thing spotless -got back to the office, opened a door and found a dead guy -i ignore it and choose another job -get mad that my boss, gave me 99% again -next job i dont do shit -get fired -i go home now jobless and play this game only for the same thing to happen again -11/10, this is peak
co-op multiplayer is broken in 2025
Got excited to play Crime Scene Cleaner simulator, but the game isn't on sale. Saw this and thought it could be a decent substitute. Unfortunately, as soon as I download the games (this also comes with the santa's rampage and shadow warrior dlc), it closed soon after launching. Thought maybe it was a bug, so I tried again. Same result. Let's try verifying the integrity of the files. Same result yet again. Uninstalled the main game to see if reinstalling it again would fix it. In the meantime, I was searching on Google how to solve this issue. I found a Reddit post about another game saying it could be a good idea to force the game to run on DirectX 11. I learned how to do it via the Properties menu, and it actually worked! I could play the game. However, by that point, it had already left a sour taste in my mouth. As soon as I launch the game I see no tutorials or explanations. I jump into a map and get completely lost. I understand I might have not given the game a fair chance, but,...
A game from 2015 which doesnt support normal and easy to use multiplayer. when making something for the public remember the acronym: K.I.S.S 'Keep It Stupid Simple' This in all types of manufacturing is a normal standard That YOU understand doesn't mean that i will.
Might have been good in 2015 when it came out, but it's a completely sub-par game for 2025 No tutorial or introduction at all. The user created tutorial area (created in 2018) are unsurprisingly confusing and unpolished. The game has little to no "quality of life" features. Object ragdolls completely obscure your view and make it impossible to move items carefully; not acceptable in a game about this exact thing specifically. The physics model is obviously old and things move around unpredictably in collection boxes. De-synchonization is a problem so well known in this game that youtube videos mention it as part of their introduction to the game. Your own tools ragdoll incoherently because hitboxes and collision are so hard to judge. This game isn't fun, it's just frustrating, and not because of the scenarios but because of the way you move and work in the game.
its funny but not fun. other cleaner/sim games make it at least enjoyable but VCD makes the time sink via being difficult to control things, especially your bucket of water.
