just not as good as i hoped. you feel weak and slow. nobody can make a decent pirate game

Cool game but balance is way out of whack and you feel very slow and weak and you hardly pick up any gold, enemies are way too fast :( Fix the difficulty/balance and ill come back!

Vampire Survivors but with Pirates Wind and combo features are cool. Lovely art and gameplay feeling. Many ships and captains to try out. Hope there will be more.

-character feels super slow even with increased speed -dmg feels nonexistent once the third type of monster appears i can't even attempt to fight the waves -and you earn very little gold during runs so upgrading is a pain Out of all the rougelikes I've played this is probably the most frustrating and not in a good way

Wouldn't it be nice if the ships were a bit bigger and our crew could hover on them and we could even get a crew and add features to them!

It's generic and boring. All the art looks out of place. The gameplay isn't fun. It's not worth your time.

To summarize Ruiga Pirates is a fun, action packed roguelike bullet hell adventure set on the seven seas. Rammed filled with a roster of different characters, arsenal filled with weapons, and a dock filled with galleys for the player to choose from. Customizing each run to their fancy. Providing a ocean sandbox for players to experiment with different buffs and combinations to find the one that will allow them to survive the vastness of the seven seas whilst being bombarded by ships, ghosts, and mermen creatures! It's an enjoyable game as it should be. A little more Epicness can be added. Again, it needs a little fine tunning. It can improve at the point of hitting and movement sensation. It definitely fits the money and expectation you give.

as someone who has seen similar games before, the fact that there was a pirate theme in the first place actually pushed me to play and here I am. if it wasn't worth the price in terms of content, I would have bought it in the next big sale, but for the content it offers right now, it's pretty good

It feels like a slightly faster ship might improve the gameplay, but I can't be sure until I see it. I'm not sure if there's a ship that starts off faster by default.
