Buy it if you believe in the developers and the idea. Don't buy it if you're expecting a full-fledged replacement for The Sims right out of the gate.
inZOI is a raw but promising game with huge potential. It’s currently in early access, and that’s something you need to keep in mind while playing. Yes, the game is far from being finished. Although it has its strong points like very beautiful graphics, nice character customization and an open world, as many people have already written, many mechanics are not polished yet, gameplay feels shallow and there is not as much content as we'd like, especially considering how the price stings (for, again, early access). However, the game still has a lot to do for an early access and has a solid foundation. I believe that time will be kind to the game, and I hope that it will acquire such a quantity of content that it will not be a pity to pay this money for.
What about comparisons to The Sims?
I don't think that com...

Pure smoke. There is barely anything here, besides a character and house creator. No new content in over half a year for a "game" released with almost nothing on it. Oh yes, we get a lot of marketing and overhyped paid streamers. "The sims killer" is just a scam, this is just some creative tools put together and sold for 40€.
I hate comparing this awesome game to the sims instead of letting it stand on its own. Still, so many of us have expected this game to blow sims away with all of its now useless, overpriced DLC that add a few outfits and furniture to the game. However, so many of you still seem to forget THIS GAME IS IN EARLY ACCESS. Yes it has some bugs. Yes some features are missing. Yes things are still being worked on. If you don't want to deal, then wait for the full version to come out. Must I point out then when sims 4 was FULLY released it was still basically unplayable for years waiting for DLC to bring toddlers, features, and everything that made it even remotely worth its price tag?? Everything I loved about sims 3, they completely removed from 4 like full customization patterns and open world. They legit went backwards but still milk us for every little addition to the game. InZOI may not be complete, but there is so much promise here. So far, I am really enjoying it and am very eager for a...
I really wish there were a feature to prevent Zoi characters from dying. I like to switch between households and make some progress, but when I return, I often find that some of my Zoi's have died. At first, I didn’t think it was a big deal because I assumed I could bring them back later—but unfortunately, that’s not possible. This ended up being a deal-breaker for me. I put a lot of time and effort into creating my Zoi's, and it feels like that time is wasted if they die while I'm focused on another household. I still recommend the game for others, but for me personally, this issue made me stop playing.
Lifeless game , Lifeless character Environment , Idea, Customizationsy stem is cool but yet, still not recommend
It's been months. No bugs fixed. Barely any functional game content. Every house is the same. Devs are all talk but no actual work. Game is in dev hell.
InZOI is definitely a good value for the money. The build mode is great, and the Zois look really awesome. What I love most is that it offers a bunch of cool customization options that you usually have to buy packs for in games like Sims. That said, the game does feel a bit vanilla at the moment. There are some basic things missing, like being able to rename your Zoi or other small details, which can be a bit of a letdown. Overall, it's a solid game for the price. There's a lot of potential here, but it could use some work in terms of basic features and improving the overall experience.
It's really sad to see all these review targeting the new FREE DLC, something that the Sims will never give out, when they also put out an 11 GB update with the DLC that includes swimming pools, elevators, and a ton of other core features, along with conversation improvements. Hate AI, hate Krafton, the publisher, but the company is quite literally updating the base game AND giving Stardew Valley, like content. If you like chill building and resource games, it's early access, but worth watching the progression of the game grow to give more features.
First off, please listen to reviewers that have more than 2 hrs of game play on record. The game is in Early Access, so only buy the game if you understand that its not a completed game. You will be playing a game while its still in development so many things may not work as intended. Also, make sure you have a decent to good gaming PC before you buy. With that said, the game is pretty decent where it stands now and will only get better with time. Many aspects of the game ( building, social actions, etc., ) are bit wonky but are still developed enough to satisfy your life sim needs. There are even mods available that already make the gameplay a little better, and they are easy to install due to the built in mod support for the game. Plus you can 3D print real world objects from your real life and put it in the game. Its really a creator's/builders paradise right now as that's where the game really shines at the moment. While there isn't much to write home about considering the gameplay...
inZoi is in Early Access, however, the "Island Getaway" DLC is out. I don't have a problem with that. What I have a problem with is optimization/performance. If you're a fan of inZoi, likely you have a great computer, modernized with over the minimum required specs for the game, which is great! However... the minimum required specs for inZoi are... not correct... Upon loading into the game, I was met with static visuals and glitchy environments. I didn't lag, but the graphics were just not it. I'm not sure if it has something to do with my hardware, but even if so, the graphics shouldn't have static noise everywhere I go. And turning down the graphics settings does nothing for the game itself, either. Turning them down may reduce the static noise but it's always there. Especially when you move the camera. Your Zoi and the environment around them flutters away and you can no longer make out what you're looking at unless you keep your camera still. Right now? I cannot recommend ...
