About This Game

Story

In the rigid hierarchy of the Empire’s aristocracy, the free-spirited duchess Scarlet refused to conform, and was framed for Regicide, the assassination of the Emperor.

With the help of Lily, the captain of the cutting-edge Stream Airship, Scarlet escapes the imperial capital and declares war against the Empire!

As Scarlet’s recklessness and Lily’s cold pragmatism collide, the conflict soon engulfs the entire continent.

Capture enemy generals, turn them into allies, and clear Scarlet’s name as you fight for the duo’s happy ending!

Capturing-Turn-Based Strategy

Victory is achieved by "capturing" or "executing" enemy generals.

Defeat comes if either Scarlet or Lily falls in battle.

Secure only the essential supply line outposts, and carve a path of invasion using your limited forces and the Stream Airship.

You can ambush, prolong sieges or a full-scale attack... Nothing is off the table.

Supply Lines: The Heart of Battle

Units stationed at outposts connected to your headquarters via “lines” receive powerful support every turn. This applies to both allies and enemies.

Get cut off, and you’re in danger. Cut the enemy’s line, and an opportunity arises.

What matters isn’t territory, but maintaining critical supply lines.

Do not get distracted by the enemy!

Capture-Based Strategy That Stays Tense to the End

The enemy comes in overwhelming numbers, backed by sudden reinforcements and surprise attacks.

Scarlet’s army is too small to defend every front.

Abandon unnecessary outposts, do NOT hesitate, and focus your forces on a single enemy general.

Build a supply line that maximizes your power and give it all to the enemy general!

Map-Wide Weapon: The Stream Airship

The Stream Airship is your ultimate battlefield tool, exclusive to your army.

Freeze enemy advances with <Stalling Stream>, cut off their supply line to the frontlines with the <Interception Stream>.

Convince entire squads to surrender or defect with the <Surrender Stream>, and even boost movement to intercept ambushes with the <Hustle Stream>.

There are countless strategic uses.

But the most important is the <Capture Stream>. While it’s active, you can capture enemy generals!

Capturing Enemy generals

Activating the Capture Stream lets Lily use her skill to take enemy generals alive.

Captured generals will join your side, bringing unique abilities and new stream options.

Capturing all enemy generals is the only path to Scarlet and Lily’s true happy ending.

(Even if they don’t join right away, as long as they’re captured, you’re safe!)

Executing Enemy generals

You can execute generals instead of capturing them, and the story will still progress.

This pushes Scarlet and Lily closer to becoming Demon Queens, greatly increasing their combat power...

But the truth will be lost forever.

Capture them all, or kill them all and seize the power—the choice is yours.

Foster Bonds Between Allies

Allies grow stronger as they fight, and fielding certain pairs together and winning a fight increases their trust level.

When trust levels reach a certain threshold, Unite Episodes will occur, and deepening the trust further will unlock powerful tag-team bond skills named Unison Skills!

Do you want a game about revolutionary lesbians rising up against fascism and standing up for the people who fascism aims to exclude? Then you should get this.

I rate the game 7/10 I had a fun time with the game, but fair warning, this game is very grindy... (On strategic mode) Do your self a favor and go genocide route for your first run, its easier to grind two character than a whole roster. The game on strategic mode actively PUNISHES good strategy. If you actually strategize and minimize the amount fights you take, congrats- you will be out leveled by enemies in the next act. The game expects you to just grind the infinite spawning enemies so you can get enough EXP for each character. This game loves throwing enemies via power creep. You have lvl 20 troops? Now you have lvl 27 grunts to fight. Also, the capture mechanic is just too tedious. You need to take your Airship and go on (Capture stance) Then you have to enter combat and lower their hp to red, and then use the stun skill from the mc Simple right? No, since you only have 3 turns in combat. And if you disengage? They will full heal next turn since they are in a 5 star fort...

This game is flawed and unpolished, but very much worth the price if you are lacking in the sapphic tactics game department...which is a genre I didn't realize I needed but definitely want more of. I really like the combat system, its like if Fire Emblem had a 3 round turn based combat to resolve each battle. You can do the autobattle numbers game, or you can pilot each character manually and play it like a normal JRPG to give yourself better odds. Impatient players will get frustrated, the combat is engaging but unbalanced. Fighting on the map takes a long time, even if you're using fast forward. The difficulty is pretty overwhelming (in a way I enjoy) throughout but there is one particular boss in Act 4 that will wholly punish you if you didn't get all of your units to level 40 (the max level cap). I had to grind on infinite respawning enemy autobattle loop for like 20 turns before I was able to get everyone up to lvl 40 and beat that boss and it was still quite a struggle. No othe...

Took me about 16 hours to get to the end of the game. Story was solid, could have done with a few more CGs or character interactions but pretty good all-round. Combat is fun if a little gimmicky, and WE LOVE BEING GAY AND DOING CRIME.

A rare game solid in both gameplay and yuri. As long as you do the recruit-all true end route, at least. Had one crash in 30 hours and no other bugs. A couple minor typos late in the game. Feels railroad-y early on when you're limited to a handful of units and routes to take, but the game expands over time to have much more freedom in how you tackle obstacles with interesting units, fancy abilities, and a variety of ways to cut off the always critical supply lines or maintain your own. Can be a bit grindy if you refuse to take risks, take bad risks and put yourself into a position where you're counting on RNG, or feel like grinding out some levels on people not named Scarlet to make things easier. The combat being limited to three turns is interesting, as it can potentially allow for safely chipping away at defenders on the attack or stonewalling an offense with a small force until the enemy can build up (which they may struggle with depending on where and how you chose to defend, whi...

3/10. Just one constant ongoing map with big "surprises" which is just you losing hard earned bases you already conquered because pretty lady told the whole map. The game wants you to sit for stupid hours and grind the infinite enemies so you can have a shot at the end. Played for 12hrs and the end was my 5 person team vs their 3 and was out gunned by triple points. Could have been fun game. If you get it, just remember they will always have some base spawn across the map in every stage while you fight the main force... and you'll want to be near 40 with all characters (which only get exp when they win a fight)

While the writing is hilarious, the gameplay has a lot wrong with it. Most of the broad strategy boils down to slow creeping across the map thanks to how long it takes to secure and resecure territories as you go. Tied into the above, the enemy gets way too many reinforcement trash mobs that are easy to kill but slow you down and add to the difficulty of boss encounters. Also tied into the above, the only way to heal is to stand in secured territory that's connected back to your main base, which means you have to keep territory secured as you go. The gameplay systems make single powerful enemies oppressive, especially if they have AOE, and the map designers love to abuse that fact. Tied into the above, if either of the two heroines fall in battle you get an instant game over despite the fact that the game doesn't use permadeath. The UI is fucked and doesn't really support controller layouts for some reason despite console strategy games not exactly...

Yuri strategy! Yuri! Strategy! I have been waiting all my life for a game like this to come out, and for the most part, it did not disappoint. The yuri: Oh, the lovely yuri! Scarlet and Lily are such a wonderful pairing. Scarlet is exquisitely unhinged, and as time goes on, you realize Lily has to be just as unhinged to keep up with her. They are both incredible mistresses of chaos, riding out the wave of mayhem washing across a nation on the brink (and tipping over the brink) of civil war. Taken purely as a story and ignoring the gameplay attached, I would rate it an 8/10; the twists aren't too hard to spot ahead of time and some elements of the main pairing's relationship are fairly simple and/or static for most of the game, but it successfully gets you invested in their journey regardless, and every character in the game has at least some depth to them. (A note for the yuri purists, don't expect every relationship in the game to be yuri. There are a couple straight relation...

a very charming and unique srpg with a lot to offer! the characters are very fun, the mechanics are quite engaging, and i never felt myself growing bored or too frustrated the game does get rather difficult as it goes, but with robust save systems and tons of options to try different things, i never felt screwed. visuals have this unique blend of voxels/2d/3d that i really enjoyed. also Lady Scarlet really is that goated. another 100 turns of pressing Scarlet Wave glory to the scarlet empire
