I really like Harlan Ellison's book, as well as this game, 9/10 just because there are achievements in the game, but you can't get them

made me realize that I hate retro point & click games for their nonsensical puzzles and softlock traps the expansion on the story is nice, just can't recommend because everything is dated in a bad way and unfun I will say that the author's sadistic old man goblin voice is great for AM and is the best part

I HAVE NO PATIENCE, AND MUST USE A GUIDE If you aren't a fan of early point-and-click adventure games, then you will probably hate this game. There are no jump-scares here, and a very dark and demented story. I feel like most of the people that would enjoy it would be late 20s and up. I feel no shame in having to use a guide - some of the puzzles are very difficult to solve. Maybe you just forgot to "look" at an specific object in an earlier room and that will prevent the next puzzle from activating. It can get frustrating. BUT the story was great (twisted - and will have you thinking "wtf is going to happen?") and most of the characters are a total mess. I love the voice acting and dark humor. All in all, if you are a fan of horror, sci-fi, and point-and-click adventure games go for it. Don't feel shamed if you have to use a guide.

Interesting classic with a different approach to puzzles and story. I liked the combination of characters and each scenario. Graphics and voice acting are pretty good, except maybe the young boy from Benny's story.
