Homesick is a short implied-narrative first-person indie game focused mostly on understanding what's going on and doing what you can amidst ruins. Overall your typical high-quality indie work - lots of heart, fine details, a simple but beautiful cello-and-piano soundtrack (mp3s included!) and puzzles that make sense once you've clued into the game's logic. As mentioned, it is short - I took 3 hours, and that's with reading all the texts and with the cat on my lap, so much was one-handed, which is awkward, but doable, even during the brief light actiony sequences. Definttely worth playing if you're a fan of the genre, but you might want to wait for a sale.

User Reviews
It's...ok. The graphics are nice, but the gameplay and the puzzles weren't great. Certainly would not describe them as "innovative yet straight-forward". Unfortunately, like some others have also said, I can't recommend buying this at full price.
Very short but quite fun. The puzzles were quite interesting and originals, the atmosphere is well crafted. It's a little bit repetitive and you move a little too slow but because it's so short I won't mind.
