It was very fun and all. But 99% of the game population are chinese... playing with them with super lags is not an option. Even joining discord didnt help, EU players are extinct like dinosaurs. Very few NA players. Why I dont recommend? New weight system for treasures. From the game with 200+ hours to the game I'll uninstall once it drops. Well played devs.

Some of my friends still can't create or join non-China lobbies, despite the devs saying this has been fixed. The game connection is highly unstable, and reconnecting to a lobby is practically impossible... Edit: Neither works in beta as well btw

I found the castle not once, but twice and it was 1000% worth it

Lovely feature complete rogue lite. Similar to Rotwood, but better in almost every way. Boss fights are super well designed and there's a ton of build variety. Not a huge fan of the visual design with the bobble heads, but others will like it. Combat can also feel quite floaty at times. Still, reviews are too low, should be like 90%+.

Huge upgrade to first game, feels great to play, visuals are nice. But they didnt improve connection issues since first game, you cant join your friends or other people lobbies via ingame lobby browser, room codes or steam invitations. Only reason we could party up with a friend is because we figured in Lost castle 1 that in order to join a room one of us gotta host public room and other player gotta join via "Quick match" or something like that, other options lead to connection errors. If they'll improve on this, game would be a solid 7.5-8/10 rogulike. For now its more like 5/10 because of connection/patry-up system issues.

Everything about the game is pretty awesome. However...the server/network issues are severe. It automatically starts your server region off in china (never played a game that didn't set the region where you are, so I thought that was cool). My friend and I switched to the correct servers w/me at 40-70 ping and him at 70. Both of us would get Failed Connection: The room has been closed Both rooms were open when either of us would host, but the other couldn't join. Did a bit of digging the found a community thread where the devs claimed to have fixed the issue, but the issue proved to powerful for them as their players still battle with it. Great game for solo play, don't buy it for online play. at least not for awhile. UPDATE: Don't invite friends. Use the room code to play online.

Absolutely incredible 10/10. If you like Castle Crashers and Hades you are going to love this game.

This game is awesome and the updates have been consistently good. Solid progression and replayability. I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more attention.
