Welcome to "Times Of War," an immersive tower defense game developed by TARTORGAMES S.R.L. In this captivating game, you will find yourself engaged in intense battles against a wide range of military vehicles, including cars, tanks, helicopters, and planes. As they relentlessly advance towards your base, your strategic prowess will be tested as you deploy and utilize three unique types of towers to halt their progress and safeguard your territory.

Prepare to explore a variety of structures and resources at your disposal. The structures available for placement include Gun Towers, Laser Towers, Plasma Towers, Power Plants, and Cryogen Refrigerators. Each structure possesses its own unique characteristics and special abilities, providing you with a diverse range of defensive options.

In "Times Of War," you have the ability to upgrade your towers, enhancing their range, attack rate, and damage capabilities. With each upgrade, your towers gain additional special abilities, further empowering your defensive strategy. Furthermore, you can strategically place traps along the vehicle path, detonating them at critical moments. These traps require resources such as inflammable barrels, different types of plates, and cement bags.

Throughout the game, you will collect and manage resources, including inflammable barrels, cement bags, as well as granite, wood, and metal plates. Additional resources in the form of battery capacity, overall electric capacity, and general consumption capacity play crucial roles in maintaining and expanding your defensive capabilities. Resource collection and storage can be optimized through the upgrading of your depot, allowing for increased storage space.

While placing structures, it is essential to consider the battery cost associated with each placement. Power Plants, when strategically positioned, generate electricity periodically, thereby increasing your battery capacity. They also contribute to the overall electric capacity. However, be mindful of your general consumption capacity, as exceeding it will cause all towers to halt until you either destroy a tower or place an additional Power Plant.

The performance of your towers can be affected by their temperature, with prolonged use resulting in increased heat. However, the placement of Cryogen Refrigerators within the range of towers helps to reduce their temperature, thereby preserving their efficiency.

During gameplay, you may encounter pre-existing structures that require repair to augment your overall electric capacity. Every action in the game generates experience points (XP), allowing you to level up. Leveling up grants you Technology Points, which can be utilized within the technological upgrade tree for your structures. Additionally, "Times Of War" features ranks and achievements, providing an additional layer of challenge and accomplishment.

Embark on an exhilarating journey in "Times Of War" as you defend against waves of relentless military vehicles, deploy powerful towers, and strategically manage resources to emerge victorious. Are you ready to lead your defenses to victory?

Decent concept, somewhat buggy execution. The basic idea - carrying metaprogress over in a tower defense game - is pretty sound, and while it has been done before, I do like the way this game approaches the concept. What's more interesting is that you're doing something more like area denial - preventing enemies from leaving the map in particular directions - instead of protecting a brick in the center of the map. You have three tower types, which, although not differentiated enough, do seem to serve some very slightly different strategic purposes. (Recommendation to the developer: Laser turrets should probably be significantly longer range than anything else, but also lower damage. Also they should probably do constant damage as a beam, but be more prone to overheating. Plasma turrets should probably be much slower, but do something like % of enemy max health damage.) Each tower has, at present, two upgrades, of which the first is basically mandatory - the starting power of eac...

I haven't played this in awhile, but it seemed like the developers were working on it, so I held off. Been quite awhile since there was an update, so I've decided to go ahead. Not good. Interesting idea, but unfinished, and very difficult. Not very fun.

Okay, I gave this game a good shot. It's basically a resource management game mixed with a hidden objects game. The biggest issue is that I have is, I have over 7 hours in and haven't unlocked a single upgrade on the tech tree. After a while I just figured out that it's useless. Also, at the menu screen it isn't obvious how to choose your skill points because the circle you choose can be too dark on some monitors with different video settings. I'd give Times of War a shot, although I do believe it's a lot different than what you believe it is. Super clunky HUD. AI voice is annoying and never shuts up. Refunded.

Love the motion depth check in options menu, for an indie game development team this kind of systems are a big deal, i use lasers and the teleport tech skill from plasma towers to overcome armored vehicles, setting traps is required also, nice graphics, looking forward for new levels, try to blend in and out the music tracks when changing, but overall it has a nice direction

The machine gun tower is easily the best tower in the game, no need to manage its heat or anything extra.
