Trash Bandits

She Ricardo on my Stripe until I Squonk. This game's music and dialogue kept me engaged, but they also have grapple hook. The movement mechanics are fun to mess around with on their own, and the game let's you be creative with how to progress if you push those mechanics to their limit. The game is short and sweet for now (5 - 10 hours depending on platforming ability + collectibles), but the level editor has a ton of depth and the developer said the game may nearly triple in length upon full release.

Hey would you look at that. My first review on steam! Buy this game! It might be taking mechanics from other precision platformers, but it combines them in a unique way. I love grapplehooks in games and Trash Bandits nailed it with intuitive physics and smooth controls. Plus mixing many other cool movement abilities on top, so gameplay does not get stale. And most importantly, level editor! It seems to be comfortable and intuitive in navigation, and versitile enough make actually interesting stuff in it. I see huge creative potential in it. All levels can be shared through steam workshop! There are moments of really awkward level design in the story mode unfortunately, but they were rare. Music is a vibe, but can get quite repetative, there is only like... a couple of tracks in the game. Those are two only complaints i have so far.

This game is a great play for anyone who likes 2D Platformers. It's funny, unique, and has a great difficulty to make it appeal to any player. A must play

Fun game!! The game itself is a good challenge....getting used to the movement, the physics behind the grappling hooks and all the extras like collecting coins, food cans etc...took a little getting used to. I got a grade of D on my first attempt lol but am improving quickly. Then their is Ricky and the other animal characters working "together" that just adds a whole other fun element. Their bantor is witty and hilarious. Can't wait until the full version comes out!

Started playing on an older laptop and had some performance issues. When I switched to my newer laptop the issues all went away. That being said found this game to be a super good mix of platforming and puzzle. You have the flexibility to emphasize one over the other however you are rewarded for speed, not dying as much and finding items. There are different methods to complete the level but the game is very forgiving I think you get unlimited lives and you are rewarded for taking risks. Overall I really like this game, the characters and their funny dialogue. The grappling hooks are awesome!!!

Listen up yall. This game has a sense of humor like no other, the collectibles are a joke in and of themselves, and the dialogue is to die for. Gotta say this is a true indie gem that surpassed all expectations and then some. The platforming is crisp and the level design meticulous. GET. THIS. GAME.
