South Scrimshaw uses the linear VN format to create a science fiction documentary about fictional science. It is composed of over 400 illustrations, painted in a mix of watercolor, ink, and digital media, set against a rich audio backdrop of music and sound effects.

This release contains four chapters, detailing one life from birth to the end of adolescence, along with world building details about the interplanetary human expedition.

A lovely story made to feel like a nature documentary about a strange alien wale calf. more of a narrated storybook then anything but it is fully voiced and has excellent art. will only take an hour and a half for you to view/listen to all the content i'm aware of, the author is working on a part 2 and i excitedly wait for it. it's free to experience both here on steam or through many youtubers, i so enjoined it that way and i came here to buy it because it's that good (had to buy the DLC because it's offered here for free) but figured i had the time to spend playing it just now.
