I like the concept and the gameplay so far. Very intriguing mix between card and boardgame. Makes you think about your turn before you take it. If that is up your alley, you should definitely try the game. The visuals and the story are quite basic and simple, but nothing to complain about. The game definitely shines in its complex gameplay.

Demon Loop: The Ultimate Game You Didn’t Know You Needed This digital gem combines the best of two worlds: the strategy of a board game with the addictive thrill of a collectible card game. It’s a fresh, new combo that just works – and it’s insanely fun. The design is clean, smooth, and easy on the eyes. It doesn’t try to distract you with flashy nonsense – instead, it keeps you focused on what really matters: the gameplay. And oh boy, the gameplay is where this thing shines. Demon Loop is easy to pick up, so you’ll be diving right in without a steep learning curve. But don’t think for a second that it’s gonna be a walk in the park. The game’s complexity lies in its endless possibilities. Each move you make opens up new strategies, new ways to outsmart your opponent. What makes Demon Loop even cooler is that it’s from a small indie studio. These guys poured their heart and soul into creating something truly unique, and it shows. You’re not just getting anot...
After playing the 'Demon Loop' demo, I was instantly hooked and eagerly awaited the Early Access release. Now that it's finally here, I'm thrilled with the wealth of new content that's been added! The addictive gameplay continues to captivate me, and the expanded tactical deck-building mechanics make the experience even more engaging. I was especially excited to try out the ranged weapons, and they did not disappoint—they add a whole new layer of strategy to the game. As with any Early Access title, there are some bugs, but I haven't encountered any major blockers that would hinder the overall experience. The developers are responsive and appreciative of bug reports, quickly addressing issues as they arise. 'Demon Loop' has truly sparked my love for this genre, and the Early Access version offers so much more to explore. If you enjoyed the demo, you’ll love this expanded experience. It's a real gem that shouldn't be missed—highly recommended!
Cute little game, introduction feels pretty smooth, but difficulty spikes too fast. Takes a little while to get used to the combat system, but once you do it feels pretty good. Somehow though it always feels like I am lacking cards. Love the vibe and aesthetic!
This feels like a really unique deck building game and has a lot of potential. It revolves around resource management, positioning yourself well in the loop, and then finally planning for a killing blow on demons. It's more of a story-driven game where your deck is constantly re-made, rather than being a roguelike where each run features one growing deck. Each card has 3 uses: movement around the loop, played effect, or discarded for its Knowledge. I love multi-use cards and Knowledge especially is a cool mechanic: If I discard for Knowledge, I am able to learn a new card from the Codex DURING the encounter and it goes into my discard pile. The Codex is basically a shop that usually starts empty, but cards can be added to it during a scenario. I can access the Codex at any point on my turn, giving a lot of flexibility in when I take cards into my deck. As far as I know this isn't a very common mechanic in deckbuilders and it has a lot of depth and decision making involved...
Nice deckbuilding boardgame with some (dice-/cardbased) fighting and story. I like it so far.
I really like it! I’ve played it for a bit so far and to me it feels a bit like a puzzle game. It's very satisfying to pull off long combo turns and figure out the solution to each level. Having different decks in each level and adding permanent cards is an interesting twist compared to other card games. Looking forward to what the next levels and updates will bring.
I love boardgames by this designer, but this is as exciting as watching paint dry. You just go back and forth on the track, triggering buildings and avoiding monsters, until you have enough resources to trigger the cards that you have planed as the solution to 'the puzzle' presented by the level. There's just way too much waiting and rote manipulation for the number of meaningful decisions you get to make. I played right up to the refund time limit, hoping for something to click, but it never did. The art is a bit cringe too, voices and writing are not great either, nothing kept me engaged.
I tried to like it but I find each map a slog in which I have to invariable stumble on the strategy that the scenario will let me progress to the next map where I have to restart all over again. It just leads to frustration and boredom in the end
Even though deck building games normally aren't my kinda thing, I found the idea of this game intriguing. So I gave it a try, and it has been really fun so far! The tutorial levels are helpful and quickly familiarize you with the mechanics which are quite different from what I usually play - but that's the entire premise, bringing the charm of a board game to a computer game. And I have to say, it works! It's like a super immersive board game where you don't need to amass a bunch of other players before you even get to play. I am looking forward to seeing this game grow!
