I'm changing my review to positive after a major bug has been fixed. This game offers a totally unique take on the well-known formula that was introduced by the groundbreaking title Iron Lung: what if, instead of stationary landscape elements, we were looking for living and breathing creatures? This is a brilliant idea, that was brilliantly executed in this game by an outstanding visual and sound design: we are all alone in the ice-encrusted ocean of Europa, one of Saturn's moons (if I remember well!), inside our little submarine, and what we are looking for are 20 majestic and, let me say, pretty creepy creatures that roam freely in these dark and cold waters. The fear factor comes exactly from the incredibly realistic behavior of these creatures, that slowly emerge from darkness right in front of us, and calmly swim along their own routes while we record our sightings and pay attention not to get too close! Even if these are fictional creatures, they move and behave exactly like the ...

Creepy as all hell. You're alone in a dark alien ocean, trying to record its inhabitants. Some creatures interact with each other predator/prey style, which adds a bit more believability to the world. The game's sound design does wonders for building tension, leading to moments where an eerie cry might ring out and you're not sure which direction it came from, and whether or not its ghostly owner is swimming right at you. There are no landmarks at most elevations, forcing you to spend most of your time moving through the dark nothingness in-between. I rarely get this nervous when exploring in a game. The hardest selling point with this one is that a playthrough only lasts 1-1.5 hours (or less), and there's no save system. Some other things could be expanded on too: - The visuals are simple, but any game should include some basic graphics options like changing resolution. Control rebinding is also a must. - spoiler: [spoiler]Ending it on a jumpscare felt kinda cheap (but it also got m...

This was a fun concept for a game; just piloting your little ROV through the depths of Europa, filming alien sea creatures. Some of them are fairly docile and are easy to film; others are swifter and will swim away or chase each other. And whilst I played it, I couldn't help but feel on edge thanks to the relative darkness, the strange noises and the weirdness of the sea creatures themselves. I rather enjoyed it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2KMt3LZIOI

Very simple, very atmospheric. If you like old sci-fi with Arthur Clarke this may be for you. Very short game. Not for all but I like this :-) Good job !
