Though it's clear the game still needs some refining, the foundation is undeniably promising, presenting a unique and engaging twist to the genre that keeps you on your toes. The level of detail that goes into handling the physics of the game is truly exceptional, making for some creative puzzle-solving. This is all further enriched by the integration of light interactions - flickering lights, shadows, and all - adding an element of realism that heightens the suspense. Interacting with various objects, doors, and furniture offers an added depth to gameplay. It draws you into its chilling narrative, making you a part of the horror that unfolds around you. This connection, coupled with the game's masterfully crafted, eerie sound design, allows for a degree of immersion that's not commonly found in the genre. While Metania is still in its early stages, and does show some rough edges, it possesses a distinct charm that's hard to dismiss. Certain physics interactions could use more polis...

Annoying gameplay of physics in the cave, especially getting across the water and retrieving keys from the cell, but I still liked it overall. The atmosphere is great, and it's definitely worth the 5€ if you're willing to push through those two very painful areas. There were some bugs along the way, but I found that reloading and using them to my advantage helped me get through the tricky spots. It's on sale right now for 0.99€, but even at the regular price of 4.99€, it’s worth it with patience.

an annoying gameplay of physics in the cave getting across the water and getting keys in a cell but still liked it. good atmosphere, worth the $5 if you keep trying during those two very painful areas. Some bugs along the way but reloading and just plowing through and using them to my advantage got me through some sticky spots. On sale right now for 0.99 but well worth the 4.99 with patience

Pretty good game, incorporates various gameplay mechanisms, mainly puzzles and solutioning to move on, but nothing too complicated. Ambience is nicely done, would love a deeper and stronger storytelling. To get a glimpse of this game, here's my no commentary longplay: https://youtu.be/LhX0kNJ05UA

The game isn't in its final stage just yet but at the current state it's not too bad, if you're trying to play it regularly though it's pretty buggy, I'm assuming if you're playing over 60fps that the player slides off of slopes and things easier so it's nearly impossible to crouch through vents unless you finesse it but besides that the game is beatable, in some instances upon death the game believes the player is still alive so I have to close the game to restart it, and if I placed a save before that death, I die infinitely across all saves, got a couple bugs but that's aite, I'll give it a thumbs neutral :)
