Among Ashes

This game creeps me out. It doesn't matter how camp, meta and self-referential it is. It keeps me on edge at all times. I've been dying and running for my life for most of the game now. The battles are great, the puzzles are inventive and the multi-level storyline works wonderfully. This is an indie wonder.

Great horror games with a really nice twist in its premise that lets it stand out, monster design is creative and a lot of the puzzles utilize the unique premise well, the story is interesting and the plot was so immersive I was scared to open my own bedroom door, but the game didn't exactly nail the ending for me, felt like it struggled to tie it all together neatly in the end and regressed into the typical horror game, not really a bad final third but not as good as the rest of it, but with a good story and fantastic scares it's still a winner for me

A very enjoyable experience. This game is definitely something special. I enjoyed every second of it. I did experience some game breaking bugs while playing, but the developer worked with me until it was fixed. He is clearly very attentive and wants to make sure the game runs smoothly for everyone.

Incredibly good! Fresh yet retro, with great level design and atmosphere. Easily one of the best takes on the modern PS1 horror style. You can tell a lot of love went into it. Can’t wait to see what this developer makes next.

VERY well made. Supports Ultra wide out of the box and looks great with rtx HDR. Doesn't overstay its welcome. Perfectly paced.
