First off, let me congratulate Marcus and team for releasing this incredible title! This game is dripping with passion and heart to a point that i haven't seen from any title that I've played in what has to be at least a decade now. From the general art-style, to the splash-screen you see while playing, to the level up screen, etc. it all culminates to create a vibe that reminds me of simpler times. The Music is phenomenal as well, every track that I've heard thus far is an absolute banger and really fits the zones/areas that they are tied to. I love all the characters and the dialogue so much! The dialogue in particular feels so natural and is very well written to match the attitude of each individual character, really making each one stand out from one another! The Gameplay is fun, interactive, and extremely engaging! I'm not very far into the game as of yet, but the items & gear that i have acquired thus far is already affecting the way that i approach each and every encounter! I...

About This Game
Finally, a tactical RPG that has NO RNG to Hit, Miss, or Crit!
When you attack, use an item, cast a spell, or defend yourself, you'll face a Ring Trial. Click when the indicator is in the Blue Zone to succeed. Click when the indicator is in the Red Zone for a critical success! But, of course, try not to miss...
A living battlefield to change as you please!
Terrain has a massive impact on battles. Fortunately, you can change it freely with your magic! Just beware... your foes can do the same!
A story that changes based on how you fight!
Actions speak louder than words. There's no dialogue trees of options for you here... how your characters interact depends on how you fight. Your decisions (and your skill) will determine your party's fate—in more ways than one!
The party that never stops!
When the new king sent princess Sahana to the far-flung hinterlands of the kingdom via a "political marriage," she didn't expect a warm welcome. And that's great, because she didn't get one.
Her reluctant husband, Kadi, treats her well but mostly avoids her. Vexingly, he does not seem to be avoiding a beautiful mercenary named Celestora—who says she wants Kadi dead, but spends all her time with him anyway. Hana's "exile" isn't the worst, but she has had about enough of this little situation...
Join this band of misfits as they venture to quell the monsters that trouble the province...
Super Indie
Radix Chronicle is brought to you by the 2 person studio, Luna Flora. Ray handles the code, and Marcus handles the other stuff!

Looks cool, great soundtrack, fun systems and funny interactions. Great job guys!
Grid-based strategy game that teases the brain. Reminds me a lot of Into the Breach. Great replayability, great challenge, catchy soundtrack and a lot of silly moments. Keeps you challenged while rewarding good use of the game's mechanics. I'm having a blast
So this was a surprise for me, it popped up in my recommended feed, I love the classic SNES JRPG aesthetic, and that alone was enough of a reason to give it a go. Then I spent 2 or so hours on the first boss encounter, trying out every single little thing to solve the secret mission parameter... and that's when I realized, I am addicted. I was really enjoying the process of figuring it out, trying different gear, different abilities, trying to figure out how to manipulate the boss to do what I want... If the first boss encounter already feels this deep, I am really looking forward to seeing what's in store later on.
Update: After now having completed 12 stages over 9 hours of play, I want to mention that both the story and the soundtrack are really growing on me. Especially the story has a real sense of retro rpg atmosphere. The soundtrack, which originally didn't impress me that much, is better than I thought and I found myself humming one of the themes before going to bed last night, so there's also some earworm potential. Original Review: Radix Chronicle is a cute and fun tactical game, which somewhat uniquely relies on a timed input system to confirm the success of actions instead of using RNG to determine hits, misses and crits. In that sense it is clearly inspired by the Shadow Hearts series, while also borrowing elements from Final Fantasy Tactics and other tactics and jrpg titles from the 90s and early 2000s. At the core of the game is turn-based battle system which happens on hex-grid maps with unique shapes and terrains. The basics are simple enough: attack, move, guard are the typi...
Banger game.
Fun and solid Tactical RPG you can play in small bite sized chunks. Fun to replay missions to try and get a better score and to secure the secondary objective for another piece of equipment. With obvious inspirations from games like Final Fantasy: Tactics and Shadow Hearts it manages to not feel like it's simply trying to copy those old classics and fill the role of spiritual successor. I appreciate this for two main reasons: The first is that it's clear there were unique ideas they wanted to express and NOT just trying to be clone of the old classics just to fill that nostalgia/gap in the market. The second reason is that I think the creators realize trying to be a spiritual successor are incredibly large boots to fill, incredibly difficult to to do and there's no reason to be a clone which would almost assuredly be inferior to the original anyway.
Cute interactions, nice music and fun gameplay. I can feel the love radiating off of this game.
Radix isn't just a game, it's a love letter to classic video games. It's a fun and intricate story driven experience with amazing replay value that will bring you back again and again.
It's deeper than it seems at first glance.
