Jank supreme, of the "my first roguelike" variety (incidentally, what the game's exe is called), with flaws so fundamental I doubt any amount of updates can fix them. Theme is alright, some weapons look... fine, and there are certain bops on the soundtrack (so much so the audio actually clips), but that's about all the positives. Weapon and general combat feel is undiluted dogwater - flaccid feedback, zero punch, but with an occasional atrociously overdone camera shake. Damage to and from the enemies feels like... nothing, actually - there's barely any indication beyond the health bars moving. It's Unreal, so despite having what one would call an art style to its models and textures, it still looks like hot garbage - over-saturated, overly reliant on them fancy engine effects and just plain ugly. Maps are a mix of messy tight corridors with enemies barely fitting inside and simple arenas full of line of sight blockers and high walls and platforms - evidently to encourage double jum...
