About This Game

Imagine any fantasy RPG, but with traditional aspects simplified and turned inside out.

 • You don't need to eat food to heal - just pluck a piece of bread into a wound.

 • No need to sort out what’s to sell to a merchant: everything you collect is simply considered as "loot" and you sell a pile of such loot by weight.

 • There is an inventory and leveling up, but no complex skill-trees and inventory management.

 • The Dragon, the main antagonist(?), constantly glitches and breaks the game's rules. Find out why! Well... or don't. It's your choice, and it matters, like choices in RPGs should.

 • NO FISHING MINI-GAMES.

Dungeons are held by the Island’s administration. There is a technical floor, the workers of which make sure that torches are lit, traps are working and monsters are healed after a raid. Gritty secrets are hidden on the lowest floors, which can give you a chance to completely flip the storyline.

Carefully plan your targets, moves and ammo. Get ready to sweat!

Stock up with torches. There are plenty of places to explore!

You're stuck on an Adventure Island. There's a local attraction - the Dungeon, where you can raid, explore, loot, gain experience and level up. Just buy an adventurer's ticket, pass a turnstile, enter the elevator and choose the floor.

The workers of the Island's administration make sure that traps are working, torches are lit and monsters are healed after raids. At the first glance, everything seems PERFECT for an aspiring adventurer, so why leave?

Turns out that everything is not as it seems. There's a dark, dirty secret that the Cool King is hiding. Which is not cool. Monsters are tired of the constant respawn loop, their lives are like a groundhog day.

But the main monster, the Glitchy Dragon, went out of control and broke the game's rules in order to find the right person for his (in)genius plan. Maybe it's you? It's up to you to decide!

I had fun with it, it really scratches the Supraland itch. I ran in to quite a few bugs, some will entirely lock you out of quests. The developer has been very responsive and is patching them, so this is a big thumbs up from me.

The RPG is a minimalist [strike]loot goblin simulator[/strike] dungeon-crawling adventure with light RPG elements, streamlined everything, and goofy side quests. This is probably the dumbest game I've ever played, but I had a great time with it.
Story
Trapped in a strange fantasy kingdom after the Glitchy Dragon destroyed its only bridge, you must [strike]steal everything[/strike] test your mettle in the local Dungeon to convince the "Cool King" that you are, in fact, also cool. The story is ridiculous and predictable, but entertaining.
Gameplay
Fundamentally, a first-person quest-driven RPG: basic combat, skill points at level up, a small open world, and a multi-level dungeon with bosses and occasional platforming. Can switch between default "Adventurer" difficulty to "Story" (deal more/take less damage) or "Challenge" at any time. Controls. Playable with a controller, but the camera is slow even at max sensitivity. I found keyboard/mouse to be...

The RPG is a cute little sendup to Skyrim and other fps-rpgs of its kind. It maintains a generally fun atmosphere and the base gameplay is solid, but the game is buggy and very short. Also: I couldn't beat the final boss because all his attacks one-shot me, and I just got tired of plinking away at his massive healthbar. I think most people will get bored of this game within an hour. If you're like me and just wanted a goofy reason to bop stuff in first-person, you'll probably get your money's worth right up until the final level of the dungeon. Not recommended for most people.

Really good game! Got me out of my gaming slump. Super silly with lots of fun references. Gameplay and story are both super engaging.

An absolute 10/10 experience, I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for something both incredibly fun and deeply engaging. The gameplay is immersive, the mechanics are smooth, and it keeps you hooked from start to finish.

It overstays its welcome in 2 hours. Theres not really that much to this game. Its like someone filled a checkbox in what is supposed to be in an rpg Without actually making it fun. Every system is super shallow.

Very enjoyable fun little tongue-in-cheek looter, spent a couple solid hours in the full game after release and a couple in the demo before that, pretty cool that i could carry on my save from it too, full of cheeky references here and there, character development is simple but the progression still feels rewarding and simplifying the inventory means more time for adventuring, and there's plenty to do all round the Island. On top of all that the combat feels really good, you have some mobility and style options, sometimes you don't even need to fight, but when you hit something it'll know about it. A+ across the board from me personally

It's a fun game to kill a Saturday with, but I kept running into bugs and glitches, including in the final fight. Fair warning, stock up on everything you could want before you enter the last area. You can't get back out due to a bug with a door being stuck from the inside until you kill the enemies on the outside, which you can't do unless I missed something that kills things through walls at some point. Dev, I tried to report bugs when I could, but I kept crashing. Sorry, good luck.

Starts out good then becomes what it makes fun of. Second half of the game is very tedious. Also it says "Carefully plan your targets, moves and ammo. Get ready to sweat!" but you can beat the game by just heavy attacking while strafing or moving back and forth. Its braindead, but mobs are very tanky in the second half.

West of Loathing meets Skyrim. Yep, it's pretty much exactly that. Surprisingly the world is pretty rad. I enjoy exploring it and I love that my fan/bodyguard is constantly getting into fights and getting killed. Looking forward to digging into this over the weekend. Perfect, light hearted adventure. Feels like a distant or second cousin to Sir Whoopass as well.
