Not the most inventive, and some late chapters are visibly less detailed than the very impressive first chapter, the Lighthouse. They went for a faithful remake instead, that's commendable ! I admit I wanted more. Still, very nice to replay this 26 years old gem.

Finished it. Very fun. The puzzles are pretty easy, and the story was a bit confusing, but I still recommend for point and click fans.

Wonderful Remaster. . Benoit Sokal created an aura of emotional realism that stays with the player longer after the game is over. Like middle earth from Lord of the Rings---it feels like there must be an Amerzone out there. Sign of a true masterpiece.

A beautiful game. Just beautiful, the world, the buildings, the cutscenes, the puzzles. Much better than the original so a masterpiece of a remake. Finished it after 17 hours and missed tons of achievements...duh! The tribute at the end to the genius who created this story and to the talented people who brought it to life was very touching. Thank you.

never played the original back in the day (i wasnt really into the slideshow adventure games), but i always had my eyes on them when i was a kid. now with the myst, riven and amerzone remasters i'm finally playing through all those games. and i love them. they look stunning now and the atmosphere is top notch. this one feels like a jules verne novel/adventure. im glad there is a game hint system cause i dont have patience to be stuck in adventure games anymore, but this has it all. very chill atmospheric experience. recommended if you are nostaligic for games of yore and if you like 1800s steampunk/age of exploration stuff.
