Refunded. Everything about this game feels rushed. It's odd, because LS2 has been in the works since at least 2020 (though it was initially planned to be a web series), and the time between the demo and release was a year and a half. UI: – There's no back button or dialogue history. – You can't access settings from the pause menu. It's odd because the only setting is volume. – The only setting is volume. – Save slots don't display any information including if there's even a save attached to one. Gameplay: – So many typos. – The music is bland and is not well implemented. Songs will abruptly cut on or off, some only play for a few lines of dialogue or will interupt another song that's already playing. – It's quite short, maybe around a third of the length of the original. I completed 2 characters' routes in under 2 hours. Art/Writing: – The art from LS1 is reused, but there are new assets as well that don't match the first game's style. – None...

Launch Day Notes!
Hi all, we did our very best to catch all of the typos and errors in the game pre-launch but there are still 12 outstanding tickets that have minor non-breaking issues. (Characters show up where they shouldn't etc.. )
Our save file layout is still very simple, expect that to change next week.
If you find issues, bugs, or crashes please email us instead of using forums. We honestly don't have time to keep track of issues on the forum and email is the fastest way.
THANK YOU!!
The friendliest dating sim on the planet is back and ready to cuddle! A long-awaited sequel to the award-winning visual novel LongStory, our new season picks up where the first ended — the summer before high school begins.
When Turkeyhawk goes missing from a Welcome Home party for Marcel, it’s up to you to find your feathered friend before the school year begins.

It seems like everyone has a theory to share, is busy birdwatching online, or will happily feed the rumor mill. But does the person who left the turkey suit sitting in your closet even want to be found? And if they aren’t Turkey anymore, are they even your friend?
It’s a mess, socially speaking, but don’t worry, there’s still plenty of time for dates and flirtations, even if your romantic escapades keep colliding with quirky detective adventures.
Dive back into life with the most hilarious and heartwarming group of friends you’ll ever encounter in a game.

Episode 1: Welcome Back!

The LongStory crew had a busy summer apart, but now you’re back together and throwing a party to celebrate! That is until Turkeyhawk hangs up the suit and vanishes…
Episode 2: The Investigation Begins
With Hanna’s help, the search for Turkey begins with some Internet sleuthing. But do you have the skills to decipher facts from fiction?
Episode 3: Theories & Secrets

As mystery clues and romantic invitations roll in, it’s beginning to look like everybody at Weasel Heights has a secret, not just the missing mascot.
Episode 4: Clue Spotting

You have two BIG leads that could help you find Turkey. Should you follow the clues? Or drop the investigation to hang out with someone special?
Episode 5: Date Drama

Solving the mystery of Turkeyhawk is within your grasp! But doing so could ruin an important relationship. What should you do?!
Episode 6: Case Closed

This Mystery of the Missing Mascot has changed you, Turkeyhawk and the entire Weasel Heights crew. For better or worse? That depends on the choices YOU made!

Refunded. I loved the first game (and will be leaving a positive review on that game shortly after I finish writing this) but I was strangely disappointed with the sequel. First off, the length. This game is the same price as the first one but half the length. I think this is a problem by having so much ground to cover and type of weird branching story they decided to write for this one, but I think you could've gotten away with making it more linear and increasing the length. Secondly, the characters. Sasse (MCs default name I will be using for the rest of this review) feels like a caricature. They're much more moody and rude to their mother for no reason, in fact it feels like it's been inverted because they're a lot nicer to their younger brother in this one. The worst part is Sasse's nosiness, it's been played up to 11 to where they won't stop investigating something everyone around them is telling them to stop (even *Hanna*). Hanna is mean and insufferable to everyone around h...
Honestly? After the amount of time between the two games this felt more like a mini DLC than a true sequel. I'm left feeling quite disappointed, There are some pros like the relationship I got into and some cute scenes but between that and the turkey the rest of the friend group is kinda absent. 6 chapters is already quite short add on those chapters not being long and chapter 6 probably being the shortest.. I just expected more. 11 years since game 1, yet it feels rushed. Maybe some replayability taking different love interest routes but it won't take all that long. Update: I may have been a little harsh to not recommend the game, replaying different routes showed more layers but I do maintian it feels like a DLC than a true sequel, maybe even a prologue for a third game idk
I like what's there of the game, the problem is, there isn't really that much. This feels like more of a side-story than a proper continuation from the first game, which is especially a shame considering how abruptly the first game left off. If this were a dollar or two I might still recommend it, and if it's ever on sale for like 5 dollars or less its maybe worth considering. But I really did not feel like what's there is worth the asking price. If there's ever any sort of update/extension to this I might consider replaying it. But other than that I definitely can;t see myself replaying this any time soon. Like it was nice, while it lasted, but it didn't really last long enough to be worth it. I also feel calling it a dating simulator is a bit misleading. Like it doesn't seem like there are any opportunities to date anyone if you don't start with an existing relationship.
I’m sorry to say this but this was definitely not a ‘Long’ Story. I’m extremely disappointed with this sequel. I played the first game back when I first started college and I found it endearing. It’s not a perfect game by all means but I couldn’t help but play it about 4 times for the same character (Marcel is best character btw and I loved playing the m x m route of him and Sasse). I was so excited to play the sequel and I immediately bought it. I’m sure some of the other reviews have already mentioned this but the writing and gameplay felt much weaker. I don’t know how many times I yelled at my screen with some of the choices like seriously Sasse chill and give Turkeyhawk some space! I really wanted to see more interactions with the person I was dating and although the ones that were there were cute… it felt like it didn’t add much substance. It was the main reason I played the original so yeah the writing felt much flatter and rushed. Game is waaaaay too shor...
ive been waiting for this game for like 10 years and the game is very short its 2 mins of gameplay and also because the game is so short the writing is bad because theyre trying to rush the story, longstory2 has no purpose. they got rid of the options to go back or fast forward or control volume the only option is main menu and resume with how bad this game is you would think they took 5 minutes to release it not 10 years. i could of made this anyway overall 0/10
Overall, it's not bad. It doesn't feel nearly as fleshed out or emotional as Long Story 1. Feels kinda rushed, like when they ended Later Daters. I'm hoping they'll add to it in the future with actually attending HS. How emotional could it be if you and your lover are going to different schools, and/or they meet someone they get close to and MC is jealous? Is it worth full price? .... Not right now. Maybe in the future, if they add to it. If you find it on sale for $5-$10, maybe... I don't think it's quite worth $10, but some people may get more enjoyment out of it than I did. It only took me like an hour and a half my first play through, while Long Story 1 took at least double that (4 times as long actually, I think). I feel like this would've been better as a DLC for the first game. In 9.6 hours I played: Marcel's route, Turkey's route 3 times with just quickly clicking past read portions, and Colin's route once. 5 routes in less than 10 hours, even for a VN, is really short. Pro...
It was nice to revisit these characters again, I first found this game when I was in high school myself so it's been a while. It certainly felt a lot shorter and like there was less time with each character. It was nice to see the small differences between how romantic interests/friends reacted to stuff but there wasn't too much added to the story from the first game so it feels like a short story/filler game than a second installment but it was still really sweet. It will be very interesting to see if they do anything else with the story or characters :)
