About This Game

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition enhances the bold new franchise to the fighting game genre from NetherRealm Studios. Featuring six new playable characters, over 30 new skins, and 60 new S.T.A.R. Labs missions, this edition packs a punch. In addition to DC Comics icons such as Batman, The Joker, Green Lantern, The Flash, Superman and Wonder Woman, the latest title from the award-winning studio presents a deep original story. Heroes and villains will engage in epic battles on a massive scale in a world where the line between good and evil has been blurred.

A good DC fighting game that still holds up. For positives, the campaign is fun and for the most part, well-written for a fighting game. There is alot of single-player side content with respect to the Arcade ladders and STAR Labs. The roster is fairly big as well even if some characters play similarly to others. The game is easy to learn and not the hardest to become good with some practice. For negatives, the animations are a bit stiff and some of the character models, particularly the faces have not aged too well (in addition to some of the female hero character designs). As for stability, there's horrible UE stutter when there are stage transitions that I was never able to fix. But other than that, the game is smooth to play and I had no issues 99% of the time. The hardest side content can become frustrating if you're looking to fully complete everything as you basically need a guide to understand how to beat 1-2 Arcade ladders and to get level 100, which I never like to use gui...
TLDR: 7.5/10 The Original Injustice Is Still Amazing if You Have People To Play It With. The Online is a Certified Ghost Town, but the Game Itself Is Still a Blast. Dare I Say I Like It Over Injustice 2

Actual Review (No Spoilers)
While Injustice 2 has slightly smoother gameplay and responsiveness, I vastly prefer the characters of Injustice 1. The game undeniably has it's fair share of unbalanced BS, but I still love it anyway. Injustice 1 also borders on the era of graphical diminishing returns that came a few years later. It shows it's age but still holds up decently. There's not much to do in the game anymore besides playing the story mode, finding a group of active players somewhere, or going for 100% achievements. There is a semi-active steam group for the game, and probably some discord servers if you look hard enough. This game still deserves to be played even with Injustice 2 existing. It's got great character design and extensive combos for you to lear...

Instead of listing all the things I hate about this game, I was going to show everything I liked about it. But after some thinking I realized, there isn't a single thing I enjoyed here. The game looks like ass, the gameplay is broken, my controller randomly starts putting it's own inputs for some reason, the story is meh at best, the character design is like they gave the original heroes/villains to the designer and told them to just make the worst version of them and many other things.

I play this game on console back in 2014-2016 where i got a little over 150 hours+ and despite over half the roster being broken including projectile spamming being the man issue this game is one of my favorite Nether Realm studio games. Pros: - Some of the funnest and most intricate characters in any fighting game - Towers and star labs are also pretty fun - Transitions on maps in my opinion are cool Cons: - Story is not that great at least compared to injustice 2 - Too many zone characters - Zone characters are annoying to deal with in this game - Net work for online multiplayer sucks sometimes but isn't too bad - Nobody plays this game anymore - Going up against the hardest Ai almost feels like the game is cheating because sometimes it will read my moves and counter me before I even get to process what happened - Stars labs are stupidly hard sometimes Even though there are more cons then pros I still say this is was of my most favorite games I've ever played alt...

Gotta be the worst combat I've ever seen in a fighting game. Story is good, but holy shit this is aggravating to play.

This game deserves a remaster and in my opinion its better than 2,which turned into a grind fest and it didn't have my favorite thing being the alternate outfits(Literally like 5 and it's a huge grind to get them).
