Criminally underrated in indie roguelike/roguelite circles. People are quick to point to TBOI or Hades as the definitive indie roguelike, but this game usually isn't talked about as much, which is a shame, because the balancing and tightness of design in Nuclear Throne is unparalleled. A lot of roguelikes sell themselves on the idea that "every run is different" because there are so many items and abilities. Some even actually succeed to deliver on that huge scope, and, when done well, can result in a pretty good game. TBOI is a good example of this. There are a huge amount of items, and it really is true that every run is different. However, that isn't always an upside. Sometimes "every run being different" can mean you get horrible luck and the run feels unwinnable, or largely stacked against you. Nuclear Throne eschews this approach almost entirely, which is rare for a roguelike. There's a good handful of abilities and weapons, plenty enough to keep things interesting, but it does...

游戏是好游戏 手感特爽 但是个别成就(good riddance, unstoppable, ultra mutant)过于出生 要做全成就不可不提前规划
GOOD GAME AGAGAGAGA
A classic rougelite shooter with a nice world. If you like binding of isaac you'll probably like this game. The pros: -Face paced action -unique characters to choose from -an interesting world with interesting enemies. -Fish can roll The Cons: -Not that many weapons to choose from leads to playthroughs feeling same-y -post-first victory content really only appeals to people looking to flex how far they can get -Highly unlikely that there will ever be anymore content added
Content is fun, but locked 30fps is not only difficult to play a twitch shooter, it's also nauseating.
The best top-down roguelike shooter, and probably my favorite ost ever.
Amazing gem of a game
fastpaced and brutal, but very fun. if you dont mind dying to bs occasionally give it a shot
The most roguelike that ever rogueliked
goated roguelike
