About This Game

There is no life. There is no hope. There is only the Grappledrome!

Grappledrome is a tense, fast-paced multiplayer arena shooter built around a grappling/swinging movement mechanic - it's Unreal Tournament meets Bionic Commando. Soar through the map looking for the ideal weapon pickup before ambushing your victim from on high. Make spectacular escapes, swing past obstacles and find new angles to re-engage your enemy. Delight the Overlord as you kill each other for all eternity!

So I'm a sucker for arena shooters in general and this one is something new and fresh. I have been playing for an hour as of the time where I'm writing this and have to go to bed because of work tomorrow. Otherwise I would keep playing all night. Can't wait to get home and start swinging around shooting at guys who are doing the same... It has been a long time since a multiplayer game has given me that feeling and I think that is a good thing. Right from the start it has been a lot of fun playing and there are a lot of interesting ideas in the game that also work very well. For example you can use your grappling hook to pull in guns and health pickups. The arenas are really cool and the gameplay is very smooth and responsive. I just hope that there will be enough people playing because in my experience there is a problem with population when it comes to arena shooters lately. When I just started playing the game there was one guy in a server and after joining it took a bit but then mor...

I'd actually love to play this game online when it's ready and there are players. Just not now really. TO DEVS: Take your time, make it shine, promote it well and we'll be happy to play this!

Such a fun, yet addicting game. I love 800 North's games, they always put alot of effort and thought into them. This one is great so far even in early access. I 100% reccomend this game to anyone who plays FPS games. Right now it's not that popular, but it has the potential to be. Give this game and Dino D day a try, I think you'll change your mind. Update 3/22/2020: Development and online servers have ceased. Quite a shame since it could've had huge potential. If it was ever ported to VR, it would definitely be hit.

Awesome concept, but dead in the water. Buyer beware; there are almost no players playing online, ever. Also features extremely weak single player content. Game was clearly released way too early, and leaves a poor first impression. Still, it is fun to play, if you can actually get a match; however Grappledrome will probably be one for the history books of how NOT to make a game. A shame.

Enjoyable game with a lot of potential. Nothing like flying through the air at high speeds while landing shots at long range :D
