I kind of want to give the game a thumbs up in that it works—it starts, runs, and you can play it. But it falls into the same pit so many other simulator games do: why am I doing this? It has all the wallpaper—upgrades, automation, expanding your space, etc.—and you’re always just a little short on cash, which keeps things moving. That’s not bad. But is it good? That’s where my thumb turns around. It needs a reshuffling of the core progression loop and some technical improvements to “get there.” It’s a perfectly serviceable time-waster, but that isn’t necessarily a compliment. Vague criticism is easy enough, so let’s get concrete and answer: what would I change? On the technical side: conveyors. This is almost certainly a technical limitation, but having to buy each individual conveyor makes rearranging your belts unappealing. Similarly, being able to adjust conveyor height—not as a special piece, but as a basic feature—would go a long way toward adding creat...

It's a great game. As others have said, it's Papers Please and tries its best to become Satisfactory at the end. I'd recommend it. Definitely got my money's worth. It has enough content to keep you busy for a few days. I want to get that recommendation in before moving on to what the problems are... The biggest issue for me is the conveyor belt system in general. This game operates on a grid, and each belt you place acts as its own piece and not part of a larger array. This causes several different issues. First off, if you have a belt that's 20 segments long, a single package will move normally. But if you add a second package, it will wait until the first package has completely vacated the belt segment its on. It won't move to the end of its own segment, it won't move in tandem with the first. No, it waits until the segment ahead of it is completely empty before moving. This means if you have a package on each segment and a package at the very end moves, each package will wait for...

Good game put please make converyor bridges smoother. Packages have to wait before a package has crossed all the way over before another package crosses.

Parcel Simulator delivers a surprisingly engaging and addictive experience that blends casual simulation with strategic resource management, wrapped in a quirky package centered around the world of parcel delivery. At first glance, the game’s premise—managing your own parcel business—might seem straightforward, but it quickly reveals layers of depth and charm that make it stand out among other simulation titles. With its accessible mechanics, humorous tone, and steady progression system, Parcel Simulator manages to turn the repetitive task of sorting and delivering parcels into an unexpectedly satisfying and often amusing gameplay loop. The gameplay revolves around processing parcels efficiently, upgrading your equipment, and expanding your delivery capabilities. Players start with basic tools and a modest setup but can gradually improve their facilities, purchase faster delivery vehicles, and unlock new challenges. The core loop involves sorting parcels by destination, managing...

This game is great fun until you upgrade past tier 10, then everything bugs out. I spent hours getting my warehouse exactly the way I wanted it, only for the whole thing to get jammed up because Bridges, Loader conveyors, and sticker machines all decided to just stop working. Halfway through the day, these conveyor pieces will just stop sending packages through. You end up having to finish everything by hand in several different places. This needs to be fixed. This game is unplayable in it's current state, and it will wait until you are about 40 hours into the game to decide to crap out on you. JUST when you are starting to get proud of your creation.

Surprisingly fun, not your average 'simulator' game. The game is extraordinarily well paced. It starts of as a simulator in which you do the checks manually but eventually you'll have automated everything and you're trying to tackle different problems in order to optimize the speed and capacity of your little sorting and distribution facility. Gameplay wise I find a lot of similarities with Hydroneer you start with doing a lot of tasks manually but after painstakingly (and honestly a little labor intensive, with having to get your packages from the truck) automating tasks when you have the funds and space to do so everything is suddenly done on it's own. The achievement of 1m dollar seems unreachable but you'll have done that by day 40 or so (at least it seems that way in my own run).

The early game is fairly interesting, greatly remniscent of Papers Please where you get more and more properties of the package that you need to check if they are valid or invalid. However, the automation quickly makes the game fairly uninteresting. I think this stems primarily from machines being unlocked too quickly and too close to each other and being too cheap. Once you get automation up and running, there's basically nothing left to do in the game, except spend many hours waiting if you want to get all Steam achievements. Contracts feel mostly useless after the first couple of days since once automation is set up, it takes more time to find the correct parcels than it's worth. One suggestion that would make both contracts and automation more rewarding would be if contracts yielded a special currency that's required to unlock/buy the verifier machines. The game took around 8 hours for me to basically finish. Will probably take another 8 hours of grinding for the final Steam a...

The idea of the game is great and if executed well i could enjoy it for what it is, but i quickly got tired of all the different new checks i had to do for every package and even when new features arrived, it was all purely to add more challenge to the game with little to no extra reward. i could not bring myself to play until i got to automation which is probably why i didn't enjoy it, but it was way to repetetive for my taste.
