About This Game

Mylo, a young alchemist studying under the wing of Ademia, has lived their whole life sheltered from the outside world. The quiet village they call home never truly accepted them. Ademia, ever protective, keeps Mylo inside and away from the influence of others.

Determined to prove themselves to both Ademia and the village, Mylo decides to wield the most dangerous alchemy of all: wisps. The most fundamental force of nature, wisps are what create and grow all life. But their power comes at a cost…

Embark on an adventure full of whimsy and intrigue, taking Mylo from beautiful forests to tranquil medieval homes. Discover the true nature of wisps, and even gain the ability to control them and fight enemies. And finally, help Mylo and Ademia save the villagers’ Cider Festival and repair their troubled relationship.

Gaze upon a beautiful fantasy world, with gorgeous 2D art and immersive visual effects.

Control wisps and use them to make objects come to life. Solve puzzles with these living objects to continue your adventure.

Fight against monsters that are threatening the village in this Zelda-inspired action adventure title.

Follow a gripping story full of mystery with Mylo, Ademia, and other fun characters.

Let me preface this review by saying that I am completely and utterly biased as i know the devs and looked on in awe as they poured love and sweat into this game for years. ^^ Looking for Rubble: Curious Mylo's alchemical altercations with wisp kind is a quaint rpg maker style game with light puzzle elements perfect for a cozy evening. The story stalls for a moment in the middle but towards the end had me genuinely curious where it will lead. It's characters had me chuckle more than a few times, my favourite by far being the flower lady. The game signposts it's puzzles well and at no point did i feel stuck or frustrated. It features a great variety of mechanics especially considering it's relatively short runtime. All of them are introduced organically and clearly giving you exactly what you need to find the solution without giving it away. The only criticism one could levy is that they don't build upon one another, but each section has a good degree of escalation in complexity withi...

A lovely experience that only takes a few hours to enjoy. The writing is mostly fun and hilarious at times, the art is adorable, characters unique, and gameplay fun enough to keep you entertained throughout the whole duration of the game. Definitely worth the price if you’re after a short little adventure you can pick up and enjoy for a few hours.

I played this from start to finish on Halloween and honestly the holiday has never felt so cute! It has some spooky moments but the word that kept coming up, when I wasn't laughing, was adorable. It felt like it ended too soon, I was prepared to do ten more chapters!

Wisp child is a short and sweet game, but one that's brimming with charm from beginning to end. It's clear that a lot of love was poured into the game, especially in the art, design and story. And it's those elements you should come for. Don't go into this expecting a tough as nails adventure game. There are puzzles and combat to keep things engaging (and constantly mix things up so you've never quite doing the same thing twice), but really it's story first, and an endearing one at that.
