And a lot better than that other crap Ubisoft put out that they said would be a AAAA "pirate" game". No, I didn't accidentally put an extra a, they called it a quad A game. And it was garbage. So bad I will not speak it's name. Ubisoft put out a lot of incredible games back in the day. This is one of them. This was the era when I actually had Ubisoft stock. Should have sold it when this released. Because like the ships you will plunder and sink, it went down in a fiery blaze. Awesome story, Pirate ships, open seas, and an open world with treasure hunting and bounties. This game really makes you feel like a pirate. Arrrrrrg. Nice game, fighting a level 3 fort with your mid-tier jackdaw while a sea devil or a rogue wave rams into you constantly with an occasional enemy ship spawning close to you can be traumatizing, but overall nice
