Warner Bros. sucks for taking the nemesis system away from gamers. David Zaslav, Gunnar Wiedenfels, Priya Aiyar, Bruce Campbell, Robert Gibbs and on and on of executives that don't care about gaming, the gaming industry, or gamers. There is no failing for people like them because they can wash their hands of all of us, go on a lifetime vacation of not caring and we get left with BS

Had this on the 360 but never gave it the chance for a full playthrough. It turned out to be very fun and worth going back to. 7/10
2025 and still no option to change the FoV, which is nauseatingly low, unless you use a 3rd party app (not CheatEngine) that can also screw with the anti cheat for other games. Mouse acceleration that can't be toggled off. Keyboard controls are horrid and basically forces you to use a controller, so hopefully you have one, or don't even bother getting the game. Why are dev's and publishers so adamant on making old games as difficult to play as possible Update: After putting some more time into it, it's a really, really good game. Gameplay loop is addicting. Kills are chunky, and have a lot of weight to them. It's still held back by all the hoops you have to jump through to play it on PC, which is extremely disappointing, because it is seriously good.
This is one of the best games I have ever played. The main story line and the DLCs are nice. Graphics are ok and gameplay is cool. Combat system is simple and good An awesome work by Monolith productions. A must play game for Lord of the ring fans.
Ignoring WB's shady af practices with this game (which I only learned about after the fact) how do you make your major boss battles all QUICK TIME EVENTS?! Did I genuinely just fight Sauron for a second and I hit spacebar twice and clicked twice? That's... that's it? All of the levels, warchiefs, abilities, cool weapon skills and upgrades, NONE OF IT MATTERED? Oh my god lol
Finally finished the game on 100 % in 20 hours after 6 years of hiatus from this game (not full achievements, but the grind is disgusting and sometimes broken - sometimes achievement won't unlock even when all things were done right) I think the game stands on solid 7/10. Story is way too short, I didn't give crap about the characters as almost nothing outside Torvins story was explored. Outside that, there is no side story, only some challenge missions and playing with Nemesis system. It's really fun, but also time consuming. Overall would buy and play again on sale
I brought "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor back in 2016 and played my first playthrough with my old RIG with a GTX 960 2GB GPU on Medium-High settings if i remember correctly. I enjoyed every second of the game while playing! I recently started my second playthrough on my new build "Titan-PC but this time on max settings with HD Textures and 4K! I recommend this game to anyone who loves LOTR or who loves fantasy/assassin/sword play like games. Here are my reasons why I would recommend Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor: - Graphics: 10/10 - Story Rich: 9/10 - Combat Mechanics: 10/10 - Worth the Pricetag/Money: Absolutely! Game will also offer you many hours of gameplay due to DLC and Artifacts/Secrets around the open world map. One last thing... be sure to pick up Middle Earth: Shadow of War as well which is the sequel to this game, it improves alot of things from this game!
I love this game and the nemesis system. It is great and I can play on steam deck so that’s a w. Only thing is that it is a little on the violent side. P.s. pls reward this I need steam points
Okay this game is really stupid..... Like overwhelmingly dumb. I tried to get into it, but it's just impossible. Like I'm in the middle of a fight or a mission fighting one of warlords then some other lieutenant or some other idiot shows up and interrupts my fight like I don't have enough enemies to deal with already. Then I get overwhelmed and die. And every time one of these lower level rank enemies show up they have to cut to a dumb scene of them talking to you threateningly. I'm to the point where I'm practically telling this game to "SHUT UP" and just let me play the game in peace. I don't feel like watching that EVERY time I have to engage someone in combat. It's really annoying. Elden Ring is better than this crap.
