Always wanted to be a bounty hunter? This is it. You’re Jango Fett — jetpack, dual blasters, and the entire galaxy as your hunting ground. No lightsabers, no Force powers, just grit, firepower, and the thrill of the chase. From the rooftops of Coruscant to dangerous outer rim worlds, it’s pure bounty hunting action.Yeah, it’s from 2002, so the graphics are dated, but honestly? Doesn’t matter. The music, the sound of your blasters, the way the jetpack kicks in — it’s pure Star Wars energy. The controls take a bit to master, but once you do, you’re unstoppable. Flying into a firefight, blasting your way through, taking your target alive or dead — you feel like Jango Fett. it’s not about perfect visuals or modern mechanics — it’s about living the Star Wars bounty hunter fantasy, and this game nails it. "I'm just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe"

Bad port (as usual), very fun game. Bounty Hunter can basically be summed up as "what if the jetpack levels from Shadows of the Empire were an entire game?". And it just so happens that I loved the jetpack levels in SotE, so a whole game of flying around as Jango and going pew-pew all the time is right up my alley. It's a little janky, sure, and it certainly won't get any extra points for gameplay depth, but it does an excellent job of delivering exactly what you'd expect from a game about Fett. Add to that a variety of locations, clear, well-flowing level design, the ability to use all of Jango's recognisable weapons, solid voice acting and a campaign length that feels just right to me and you've got a game that, while I can understand why it isn't usually listed among the Star Wars greats, just feels so unapologetically fun. It's a shame the bounty hunting system is a complete afterthought and serves no real purpose, though even that at least adds some charming context to the game'...
This gameplay gets repetitive after a certain point, but the level diversity keeps it interesting. The story is honestly why I played it. If you are looking for a good time, easy gameplay mechanics to get the hang of, and some fun Star Wars lore (so long as you don't try to capture all the bounties), this is the game for you.
Maybe if you're a huge Jango/Boba fan, but the gameplay is pretty dull.
this game feels like it was made 20 years ago
Played this on PS2 back in the day. Being able to play on keyboard and mouse is great. Controls are fine even though there are some issues. Has that old school feel that gives a nice nostalgia feel that makes me feel like how I felt when I would feel bored and feel like gaming then feel like getting on my PS2 on what feels like a lazy day. You feel?
better than i expected i guess you should buy it? never played the original because i was barely walking when it came out ,because i was in a wheel chair (not a baby).i believe this to be better than the sequel films(not difficult at all to beat)this basically says how the second prequel film started (and why every one loves clones)it's a bit slow at the start but all ways get quicker , apart some missions . buy it when it's on discount,it's discounted quite often for low cost , have fun ? or crash out ?
I played this to hell as a kid, finally completed the story and I'll say this: -The pc port is pretty finicky especially with a controller (Aiming is wonky, camera goes up when you land from jetpacking and aiming etc) -Combat in general is dated but still fun -Dope story that sorta gives some more insight into the CW timeline -Difficulty in later areas really ramps up All in all I'd say, that even though I will always love this game, wait for a sale $20 is a little steep 7/10 took me 25 years to beat it
Janky controls and camera and I wouldn't change it for the world, I'ts fun and infuriating at the same time and a trip down memory lane.
Classic Star Wars game. Graphics updated for 2024. Works great on PC.
